Good to know! So thrilled you're back with us! Keep on keeping on!
-
Suffice to say I second all of the above. <3
-
So you didn't go the apple juice route then...? :(
-
'futz'...? Is that allowed...? :D
-
Yeah, I used to drink them like they were going out of fashion. Now, I'd rather have an ordinary coffee, a HB egg and maybe a dollop of cottage cheese. That keeps me gong far better. BPC is ok, but not as a regular thing.

Roast turkey, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, brussel sprouts in loads of butter, peas in butter, roasted parsnips, roasted carrots, chestnut and pork stuffing, rye-crumb bread sauce, gravy and cranberry sauce. It's the one day of the year I refuse to compromise. There's always the rest of the year to do that!

Please tell me you're in Nottingham (UK) and will refer....Oh... wait..... My Doctor already supports my WoE....!
-
Hahahahahahahahahahahaah!! Ok, yes, what @River_Goddess said; in other words, milestones or achievements not connected to the evil weighing appliance we stand on... which are quite literally, OFF the scale!
-
Yes, @Steph_Maks it happened to both my hubby and me.... your feet get fat! Who knew - ?! :D

Blunt post: Willpower. Nobody can do it for you, but there again, nobody held a gun to your head, made you open wide and take a bite either. Let's say you were so angry, but so angry with a guy who carved you up in traffic, and flipped you the finger, that you really, but really feel like crashing into his door and jamming…

From your computer file, I take it? Click on the black page with the corner turned over. That will post a pic as a sub-post link for people to click on. Otherwise, click on the landscape image, and load an image from a file, that will broadcast your photo as part of your post.

Looking good, @Fvaisey , I bet you feel much better too! My H has undergone a similar change...
-
...I was just kidding....
-
...Other than those minor details, it's EXACTLY the same.... ! :D

Well, if you look up Porto Valtravaglia on Lago Maggiore (which is almost exactly at the other end of the country, virtually level to where you lived) that's where my family lives.... Ah, wonderful days. I love the Alps!!
-
@BrownsFan19 , I strongly suspect those are zero-carb noodles (made from Konjak/Konnyaku)....
-
I think the most useful form of advice is from direct experience. While every person is different, there are points in which there are glaring similarities, and others can equate with.

^^This^^ If I could show you just how much personal research I have done, how many links I have in a bookmark labelled 'LCHF', how much I have read (an awful lot of which was just so scientifically complex it went straight over my head!) how many videos I have watched, and how much I've learnt here, your eyes would boggle.…

@Vladaar, look at the date of the opinions, the research done and the data presented. Sometimes, you just have to go with your own research experience, and impressions....

Yes, carbs will do that to you. It's because they don't satiate as much as protein. This is my discovery for myself, anyway. Goal weight reach? Maintain with fats. Not carbs. That way lies perdition. Speaking for myself, the whole point of my going Low-carb was to eliminate the completely useless and utterly unnecessary…
-
Avgolemono. omit the rice/orzo pasta pieces. Add no-carb rice if you must, but this soup is just delicious.
-
Yes, I was wondering about that too... I must say, on this WOE, my instinct to snack has totally disappeared... 'necessary' is not a word I'd consider at all...? I'm wondering if you don't need to up your proteins, @DivineLotus ? Adequate protein intake should eliminate that desire to snack....

Is it open to those who do not believe in the Lord Almighty? What's your end goal? Your objective? Because you can't turn the clock back and undo what has been done, on a global level. So hat is your planned intention?

Am making this next week, after shop day. If I can't find cod, I'll use a suitably chunky substitute. Pictures WILL follow!
-
As pure as the driven slush....
-
Yup, that's happening to me, right now, and to my H as well. The (really good) trick is to carry on eating "the Right Stuff" when those hunger feelings return...
-
Great tip: I have to say, if it's a good deal more protein than carbs, for me, it's a winner and no-brainer... ;)
-
@RalfLott, a me invece piace il formaggio Parmigiano aggiunto! :D :D
