I hope everyone in your household shuts the toilet lid before flushing, or that would be gross! :s My husband is constantly leaving the lid up and I have to lecture him about how the particles fly all over the bathroom and probably onto our toothbrushes and just ICK! Why is it so hard to remember?!

The ab machine is likely what aggravated your back. I have to be careful with my back too for an exercises. You will have to learn what sort of movements hurt your back. Is it bending, twisting, or exercises where your lower back isn’t supported? For example, I can do weighted Russian twists fine, but leg lifts put too…

Hello and welcome! You can’t spot reduce fat. There is no way to ensue that you lose weight/fat directly from your belly. As you lose weight and your body fat reduces overall, some of that will come from your belly. There’s no telling what part of your body will lose fat quicker or slower, although many women unfortunately…

Whole-wheat Apple Muffins https://smittenkitchen.com/2008/04/whole-wheat-apple-muffins/ Can also be made dairy-free/lower calorie by substituting applesauce for butter and almond milk for buttermilk. Also, chopped walnuts are a great addition! Yum!

If you only just started calorie counting/restricting a few weeks ago, that explains the quick loss. It is normal to lose pretty quickly in the first few weeks, because you are losing mostly water weight. It is not realistic to expect that quick rate of loss to continue past the first week or two. How many calories are you…

500-700 is NOT enough calories, vegan or keto or otherwise. Just how fast are you trying to lose weight? It is usually not recommended to lose any more than 1.5-2 lbs/week. The MINIMUM that women should be getting is 1000-1200 a day, and probably more than that if you aren’t petite. I’m not trying to lecture, just…

Ok so my Senita leggings came in the mail and I LOVE them! They are definitely squat proof. Nice thick material with enough compression to suck you in, but not too much - no dance required to get them on. Most styles of their leggings all have multiple pockets: deep side pockets, a back zipper pocket, and a mini inside…

She also organized grocery lists by where things were in the store. Had different templates saved on the computer for different stores. And just printed & put check marks next to what she needed to buy that week! :p

Growing up, my mom had a calendar on the fridge with all the meals planned out. Yes, every dinner for the WHOLE month. So, it should be in my blood! Normally I am very organized, but I just haven’t had the energy.

@jyoung3507 Would you share the recipe for that quinoa Mexican bake? Yum

I can’t commit to ... meal prep. Or cooking in general, really. Why not ... lack of energy and motivation. There has been a lot going on in my personal life and I’m just so damn tired all the time. I want to commit because ... I know it will make my life easier in the long run. Plus, since my stomach has been so iffy, I…

If you do feel like you need to do something, send her a private message (don’t comment publicly). Congratulate her on her losses, and say that you noticed she seems to be losing quickly. How many calories a day is she eating, on average? How fast does she appear to be losing weight? Do you know what her current and/or goal weight is, and are those appropriate for her health? Has she posted any status updates along the lines of feeling disgusted with herself, binging, purging, etc? In other words, how…

I have a pair of these (solid black) and they are nice and thick, not see through. However I will say, they are very VERY long on me (I’m 5’3”) so something to consider. I just discovered this new brand called Senita Athletics. I am waiting for my package to arrive in the mail, and will report back if they end up being…

@SmithsonianEmpress Jojoba oil! The name is misleading because it is actually a liquid wax. It is noncomedogenic (won’t clog pores) and works as a gentle moisturizer, but also helps fight excess oil production - plus is fights bacteria to help with acne! Just make sure you get it from somewhere reputable, organic with no…

@sshiv97ani If you are 5’6”, 120 is already on the low end of healthy. 115 would put you at “underweight.” Maybe what you need is to do Recomp - eating at maintenance calories while lifting heavy to tone muscle. Slowly converting fat into muscle, while your weight doesn’t really change much. Just a thought.

I just started her 30day videos as well! I’m a complete newbie to yoga but enjoying myself so far. I am hoping it will help my back pain, and my shoulder.

I have really dry and sensitive skin, so I try to use natural products whenever possible. My skincare routine is entirely SW Basics (their products are all natural and all 5 ingredients or fewer!) and it has been such a game changer.

Im feeling the same way! I have NO motivation to cook lately ... nothing sounds good or interesting ... so I think I need to get back into planning/prepping as well.

@mmurph102 I use an app called Happy Scale (Libra for android users) which tracks your average weight over time, rather than focusing on the little fluctuations. So, maybe you weigh in one morning and have “gained” a whole pound, but you know it is really only water weight from too much sodium. You know it is not a…

Is there a reason you are eating under 1200 cal? If you are working out 6 days a week, 1200 is likely not enough to fuel that. You don’t want to burn yourself out or end up binging. Also, do you use a food scale and log EVERYTHING?
