I was on the depo shot for 9 months. My doctor kept insisting that the shot wasn’t the reason for my weight gain. But when I stopped taking the injections, the weight fell off of me with ease. I don’t have science to prove it but I 100% think that the depo shot can cause rapid weight gain and I would just get off of it
