Struggling today...not with food,but attitude. My own of course. I'm Ms. Snarky pants lately and I really shouldn't be. And I can't remember if I took my darn probiotic again today. *sigh, I need Calgon. Or sunshine and warmth. Both? Have a great evening middle agers, I'll be working a quick close. ;)

Good mornin' all.. an aching day today; my evening shift of the double yesterday got the better of me. Another double today and I'm starting it with a fruit smoothie. I ran out of yogurt though..THAT hasn't happened in forever. Feel free to add away, I'm not the best logger in the food department (still a work in progress)…

Pulled back out the 10-minute HIIT abs video this morning. I made it through 5 minutes before I died on the ground. I'll take it for now. Short term goal= getting through the whole thing and NOT dying. Have a great day fellow middle agers

Great job so far- those aren't just baby steps, they're leaps into a better you. Side note for those afraid of, or worried about the gym- I worked at a gym and honestly no one there is judging you! The workers are happy to see you come in, and other gym goers are secretly watching your progress and giving you props in…

I have the slowest moving scale in history. (In my opinion.) However, I've lost inches upon inches. So I only look at that scale once a week, and pay more attention to my activity levels, inches lost, and overall health. Some of us just lose it totally slow.

I touched my arm last night and felt honest to goodness muscles!! I had to touch it again. Which then turned me to touching the other arm...then I ran into my son's room and yelled at him to touch my biceps! Hahahaha... They aren't big, but they're mine. And it's something I haven't had in years.

Single mother, work two jobs...I make it to the gym 4-5 days a week. I go in the early morning, I go after one job before the other, I even go after BOTH jobs. Can't do that? Go to the park, take a hike, climb rocks, etc...an 8-year old healthy boy needs that, just as much as you. You can do this if you want, honest.

Not only do I work out at a gym, but I work in one (I just totally sounded like an infomercial), and I see this all the time. It's amazing how much I can see myself in these responses. I took my 'Before' pics this morning. I didn't cry, but I did get really angry. How the blue hell did I NOT see myself getting bigger again, like what kind of rose-colored blinders was I wearing?! I appreciate you all sharing.
