One of my friends told me that you can actually get a diet plateau and need to shake it up. I changed my eating habits for roughly 2 weeks and lost 6 pounds in the same timeframe. Would recommend trying it to see if it helps. Accurate reporting is definitely essential

I normally eat dinner around 5-5:30 if I leave work earlier then maybe 4:30

I've crossed into the 30's realm and have noticed the same. Like you, I've also shed some pounds. Starting to think it might be a bit of both. It's the body's way of saying "Aye we're getting a little older, lets get while the getting is good!"

If possible, I'd recommend finding alternatives to your snacks. Example, replace chips with an Ambrosia or Pink Lady Apple or a couple of Halo Oranges. When looking to change your mindset about things it's about subtle changes that you can live with and make permanent otherwise regression will occur.
