Drink whatever fits your calories/macros. I personally prefer soy milk across the board (and it's easier on my stomach than dairy milk) but you do what's best for you!

I personally don't "log" it but I know others who do. I only log straight water to encourage me to drink more water on its own, but I also drink coffee and tea through the day, so I'm still getting my 64 ounces or whatever between my water and my other beverages. :) To each their own! There's some fun stuff you can make on pinterest in crockpots! Personally I like oatmeal with fruit but I'm pretty easy to please. Do you think he would like a savory oatmeal, with eggs and bacon and hot sauce?

I always grab a bowl of oatmeal with some brown sugar at work, but on weekends I tend to like eggs, spinach, onions, topped with sriracha or tapatio. Mmmmmm! This morning though was oatmeal with two sliced bananas on the side sprinkled with cinnamon.

I like Luna Bars in place of candy, more protein than a candy bar and I'm pretty satisfied after eating one. The peppermint and the "nutz over chocolate" ones are my absolute faaaavorite!

I will always make room for the extra calories for the guacamole. :p I will go with just straight carnitas, salsa, cheese, guac, a smidge of sour cream. No rice or beans. This is usually after a huge workout though.

I was going to say watermelon and ice cream too! I feel like some days I could eat an entire baby watermelon...but I digress. I thought the Laughing Cow cheese wedges would be far more than they are, and even the Light options are pretty reasonable.

I also use vega and it gets the job done. Not my favorite flavor in the world but that's more due to the fact that it's a protein powder than due to the product itself. ;)

If possible, I would say invest in a Crock Pot! I use mine for pretty much anything these days, and it makes a mean chili! I second what the previous poster said about a casserole. Can be done in the oven or a Crock Pot, good opportunities to put a lot of protein and veggies in, and tastes delicious!
