I had a horrible, horrible diet soda habit for the longest time. When I did Whole30 that was one of the hardest changes for me to make. I learned which flavors of La Croix worked for me. I used to hate La Croix but after cutting out a lot of other sugars it started to appeal to me. Good luck! I know how hard it is, but you…

Eating at restaurants was always my downfall, too. (Fried mozzarella sticks and their siren songs!) Now, if my boyfriend and I plan to go out to eat, I check online menus and plan ahead. We never just spontaneously go out to eat until I know exactly what I'm getting. It's really helped keep me accountable.

I bought Cookies and Cream and Mint Chip this weekend, had a little spoonful of the C&C and it was tasty! I couldn't understand all the hate on it that I've seen on here.

I enjoy Zico (the watermelon raspberry is my favorite) especially after workouts or if I'm thirsty and plain water just doesn't sound satisfying.

This. Anything that gets you moving is better than nothing! I like Shaun T's Rockin' Body, despite how drastically out of shape I am I can still get through a 15-35 minute video and I really break a sweat.

I'm coordination-challenged and I love Beach Body programs, and I'm in the boat of needing to watch it once through before going in, otherwise it's a hot mess. :D There's no shame in watching beforehand!

Add me!

Hey girl, I can always use motivation! I'll add you!

In my case, yes. When I was alone I hardly ate out, didn't really hit the drive thru, etc. Once I moved in with my boyfriend though (and he's on the heavy side) I gained over 50 pounds! He was more active than me but together we made some terrible diet choices! A lot of other factors combined to add to my weight gain of…

Dr. Oz has interviewed this guy, that alone tells me everything I need to know. :D

I stopped looking at weight loss as a linear and black and white process. One day over my calorie budget wasn't going to kill me and wasn't going to ruin all of my progress.

My SO voiced concerns when I was gaining weight at an alarming rate (50 pounds in a year, yikes!) but his primary concern was more my sedentary lifestyle than it was the weight. He said he would like to see me more active in order to preserve health, the weight was never a huge consideration for him. Of course, the desire…

I tend to go full fat, although I prefer 1% in my coffee if I don't have access to soy milk. It tends to be gentler on my stomach than 2% or whole.

This is where I'm at as well. I started with over 100 pounds to lose, I want to minimize my skin sag issues as best as possible.
-
Holy moly it looks so tasty! Thanks for sharing!

Agreed! And this is coming from the person with the world's worst self control. Like everything else, you'll eventually make it a habit (although I know it's hard now!).

Easter isn't a major holiday in our family and I haven't had much of a craving for chocolate so it'll probably be a fairly normal day (with the inclusion of some dyed boiled eggs for snacks!).

My son laughing hysterically at America's Funniest Home Videos :D

I read off of https://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2014/08/14/Complete-Guide-to-Fat-Fast "Fat Fast is a type of fasting often recommended for those who are already keto-adapted and reach a weight loss plateau. The idea is that you eat about 80-90% of your calories from fat while keeping your calorie intake low, up to…

These are both solid advice. On one end of the spectrum, a LCD could translate into not getting as many nutrients as you were before, which can definitely impact things like hair loss, brittle nails, etc. On the other, though, even healthy weight loss can confuse your body. Most cases I've heard of people having…

This! You can make anything in a crock pot and just a few minutes spent on websites like Pinterest will give you more recipes than you could ever possibly make! :)

This. I'm recovering from a significant car accident and I have what can be at time debilitating depression and migraines. I would love to have a "strict schedule" that I adhere to as far as exercise goes, but alas. I stay in my deficit though and I'm good.

HALLELUJAH! Hahaha. I do love me some sushi, I've been avoiding lately simply due to the fact that I'm still working on impulse control and I gotta be honest with myself, I know I'll sit there and eat 20 spicy tuna rolls if left to my own devices, LOL.

I'm so glad to hear that you had a good experience! It also sounds like you got some really good support as well as some really good feedback/ideas! Great job!

The recipe builder is a godsend! My S/O is no longer counting calories but when we did together it made life so much easier!

Kids really are built-in portion control! My (almost) 7 year old definitely eats way more than I do, but you would never guess it by looking at his adorable string-bean self.

I love fajitas! If I have room for fats I'll usually go with a little sour cream or cheese depending on how I'm feeling (or if I've got room, I go for both!)
-
I've done both and it seems like I'm in the minority when I say that I was constantly ravenous when I was keto. I did like the structure that came with keto, however, for me it just wasn't sustainable. "Eating whatever you want" really means some serious accountability in comparison with keto for many (myself included) but…

they DO?! ;)

This happened to me recently, I decided to give the Krispy Kreme by my house a try (I grew up only knowing Winchell's), and I could only manage about 1/3 of the donut. As I hadn't been eating too much sugary stuff such as donuts, I couldn't tell if my repulsion was the donut wasn't that great, or if it was just a shock to…
