Well done!

So you made me look. The oldest activity I have tracked in Run Keeper was May 2010. a 2 mile run on a track, at 13 min mile pace. I know was running years before that, but before that, I did not really track. My son is 16 now, so I know I have been running for about 16 years. :)

TOTALLY!

I dunno. If it was a feral cat, then that is the same as hoping the cat starves. If it is a well cared for house cat then I guess that is different.

@hamsterwheel6 Happy Birthday!

So running storytime... I was on the way back from my normal route, plodding along at "are we done yet" level of pace when this black cat comes trotting out holding a bunny in its mouth. It notices me and drops the bunny, and backs off a few steps. The bunny shakes its head and looks around like it was think "how in the…

Never mind. I am obviously very confused.

Err. July has 31 days. I posted that the morning of June 28th... so 28,29,30, and 31 were still left. That is FOUR days. :)

I swear y'all seem to jump the gun sooner every month :D

I used to use HR zones while running, but I have not found it works for me. For me, running by feel is the most reliable. In post-run analysis though, I can use HR. So say its 55F out and I ran 10 miles. I might have ah 9 minute pace and my HR average might be say 145 (all numbers totally made up here). Another day I run…

@skippygirlsmom dang what a run. :( I had not heard about any of that. :(
-
Sounds like a wise move.

She shoots.... she scores! :)

Those shoes look great!

Not silly! I do not like it either and I have run a 50k with 4 water bottles attached at my waist. Hence why I switched to my Wunjo vest instead. And 22 miles is WAY too far to go without water. Even in winter, I bring plenty of fo water for that far.
-
They make belts with bottles on them. Would that work?
-
No, he was born this season but is old enough to be flying around on his own. Robins are flying in 10-15 days after birth, this one might be as much as a month old. I am not really sure. But they are considered adults by day 45.

When it comes to injuries when in doubt, rest it is your safest rule of thumb.
-
@katharmonic wow! impressive! And love the pics!

Speaking of babies...
-
Other than the fact that I personally have never been, and never will be, pregnant, I agree completely with this.
-
Sorry. :( That happens some times. Could be you were pushing too hard, or something you ate, or anything. If you do not feel better tomorrow maybe take an extra rest day.
-
Congrats!!!
-
Dang, @Teresa502 that stinks. Sorry, but yeah if you are hitting 12:21 for a 15 miler, it is very unrealistic to expect you will be under 12 for all 26. I would defer.
-
Yeah seriously. But I would say for others reading this, no matter what the law says - 2 tons of steel flying at you ALWAYS has the right of way. I try to cross at crosswalks but I never ever trust the drivers on the road.
-
See... for me one of the advantages of racing, is it is socially acceptable to run away from people! :)
-
I like to think the same but lots of people know me as "that guy that runs by" -- despite the fact I have never spoken to them. Like the other day a dog barked at me and the owner came out to say that she did not know what got into the dog because "he never barks at you." I was sure I had never seen her before. One time I…

How did that make you feel? I personally would never say that to a stranger. A friend that I knew was trying, I might, but even then I would hesitate. I have the impression that would be a hurtful thing to say or creepy in the case of a stranger.
