  • Mine looks like a bomb vest so I do not wear it outside. It's also warm. I would only walk in it, not run. I got mine for spine health so wearing it around the house does it's job.
  • I don't know what your restrictions or instructions are after the surgery but if you eliminate or cut back on carbs and sugar, you will lose the cravings for sweets and starches. The cravings happen when your insulin drops. Then it's hard to resist eating a carb-rich treat.
  • You can change the mpf default macros. Find a keto calculator website that allows you to put in your height and weight. You can find new macros that will give you the correct percent of macros.
  • I'm doing keto with 2 friends. I don't have much to lose but they do. Since they started they have gone off blood pressure meds, metformin, statins and A1Cs are down into the normal range. For me, my triglycerides went from 177 to 117. Keto and low carbs has been working nicely for us with no side effects - except needing…

  • Put a few cookies (what ever you consider your serving) in a ziplock bag and only take those to work. Don't bring the whole package. I make my own granola and put 1/2 cup in mini ziplock bags and keep those in the cookie jar. I know exactly how many calories in each bag. Everyone reaches plateaus. Don't get discouraged.
  • SwimOutlet.com is where I get my swimwear for fitness swimming. Most men wear Jammers. They come close to the knee and are snug. I know nothing about sizing for men but this online store is very good about returns. I have had to order several different styles and sizes to find the right combo. Very easy to return what…
  • Start cooking for yourself. Eat as often as you can at home and learn to prepare your own food. It's very difficult to make "healthy choices" when you smell fried foods sizzling. Don't bring junk food into the house. Cravings are natural if those are the foods you've been used to eating. You have to wean yourself from…
