Right around 150 (give or take 3 lbs on either side) is my happy spot - I am a little older, though at 54. If I get lower than that, my face really starts to age. (Someone once told me, as you get older, you have to decide between your *kitten* and your face...I totally understand what they mean, now!) :)

I think any diet CAN work. The one that works the best is simply the one that you can stick with. I don't care if you do low carb, low fat, paleo, high protein, calorie counting, WLS, diet pills or eat just cat food. If you can stick with it long term then you will be successful. (Also, I drink diet soda....so sue me.)
