Thanks for the input. I think I would like to accurately track how many calories I burn in a day through my general daily activities so that I can keep track of my calories in VS calories out better. I also would like to start training for a 5K or something.

Anyone?

Yes! Wth?

how many calories are in 1 drink if you walk up to a bar and order a "rum and diet coke"? thanks!
-
I'm with you! The best I've figured out so far is rum or vodka and diet soda.

My skinny, long waisted, curvy, young, pretty friend told me that my "toned af" calves were her inspiration for getting a gym membership... that felt good. I'd never thought about any other part of me other than my stomach before that.

No... asking or assuming that someone is pregnant is the awful thing to say... that response is what makes crystal clear just how awful it is. Imo

Best. Response. Ever.

Oh and t-shirts will lie to you... Don't trust them. And just don't sit down... ever.

Torrid for jeans... high rise with flare or boot cut. (Their underware are good too.) Tops and dresses should be low cut (never strapless), tight through the bust, then flare just under the boobs. Never wear belts in any manner. Nothing should be too tight or too lose either. Apples usually have good boobs and/or good…

Just imagine it was like that since you were 5 years old. Never being to keep your pants up. Constantly being asked if you are pregnant. Looking like there is a "load" in your pants. Cherry on the cake was being a teenager in the ultra low-rise jeans era... :(

No such thing apparently. :(

This is so me too. I've blown off my entire life except for strictly focusing on dieting lately. Blown off class. I went through (still going through) major burn out and I am sick of having to multitask. Yeah yeah. Not practical attitude for successful life. I'll work on it later.

I really get it. I am hungry all the time. It doesn't even matter. I could have just finished a huge portion of my favorite meal and I'd still be hungry. In an hour after that, I'd be even hungrier yet. You need to talk to a doctor and/or therapist. And I need to take my own advice. But I will share with you the only thing…

Thank you all for the insight, conversation, and debate. I appreciate the personal experiences and posts with references a lot.

But what about the whole "graze all day" aka several small meals leading to a better metabolism thing? I mean it's undeniable that some people can eat as many calories as they want and stay stick thin because they have a crazy awesome metabolism. How does that factor in? And the thing about not eating a lot too late at…

I am having the exact opposite reaction. Before, I'd spend so long covering my face with make up, trying to find clothes that would fit and flatter, anything to... I don't know, try and fit in I guess. Now I walk out of the house with no make up, hair in a pony tail, (proudly) wearing jeans and a tee shirt and flip flops.…
