  • It really can be that bad. I have had three different sizes of pants fit at the same time. A lot of companies offer a sizing chart online, so at least that helps. I would say that the thing I learn when losing weight is how shallow people really are. Like why are you treating me differently now? Oh....right.
  • I work full time and have a 16 month old. I work from home most days, so that really helps. I squeeze a run in before work some days. Other days I will cross train with bodyweight exercises on my lunch break. I have an exercise ball, adjustable dumbbells, resistance bands, and a pull up bar that I can use.
  • I second this. I was feeling a bit down today as the scale hasn't moved in a month...but then I remembered that I'm supposed to start Shark week this week and I've lost an inch around my waist already. Measurements are just as important as the scale.

  • In addition to the wonderful advice Sunna_w gave, I would also recommend taking 5-10 minutes in the morning to center yourself. I know it sounds simple, but taking five minutes to reset your mind for the day is really helpful. You would meditate, pray, stretch, or just sip your coffee a little more slowly.

  • My SO (who is wonderful and supportive in every way, and always tells me I'm beautiful) bought me an item of clothing in a plus size. He was trying to be sweet, but I didn't realize I looked that big. I started exercising and dieting the next day.
