My story? Getting mentally ready was the hardest part for me. I am now one week post-op following gastric sleeve, and I have to laugh at how I got myself all worked up for nothing! :D I am taking it one ounce at a time, one day at a time. Each day has been a little different, but I know the effort will pay off!

Each insurance carrier is different, and requirements are usually determined by the employer. I had my orientation back in January, and I'm glad that I had the time to do everything under supervision and by following the rules. They took great pains to explain that the sleeve is only a tool.
