You probably need about 2000-2300 calories a day to be at maintenance. Protein is good, I weight train 18 hours a week or so, and get about 1g/lb of bodyweight. However, I would ditch the BCAA's (they don't do a thing) and protein shakes, and just eat from whole protein sources. Why? Because of satiety. Shakes do not fill…

For me the best thing I found is a combo of kettlebells and sled push. For 15 minutes I do KB's.... the classic swing, 40s on then 20s off, for 15 mins total. Get a weight heavy enough to get your heart rate up. I start low then add as I go (35's, 45's, 55's then 75 lbs) Then the next 15 minutes I push a sled around a…

Eat whole foods that are not calorie dense (lots of spinach with chicken breast). Intermittent fasting. Look up "protein fluff". Drink carbonated water. Lift heavy weights.

I'm a intermittent faster. I eat from 4pm to midnight, and it really is the best but your body takes a few week to adapt. I'm rarely hungry ever until 4pm (sometimes later) Also working out keeps the appetite down. Another thing is to drink carbonated water, lots of it.

I was able to lose 30 lbs and gain some muscle last summer from June to October. I did it by using MyFitnessPal, a scale from walmart, and also got a Polar heart rate monitor so I knew exactly how many calories I could eat in a day. Kept intake about 500 cals below maintenance and did 2 hrs of weight lifting every day (1…

I don't feel too much different than when I was in my 30's really. A bit more "calm" as I did suffer from anxiety my whole life. I was able to get from being a chubby 205 lbs down to a 9% bf 175 lbs this year though. I'm in better shape now than I ever was in my 20's and 30's and I wasn't in bad shape then.

Can't say that I have.
