ABOVE today weighing in at 264lbs. Talking with a good friend to prep for a show sometime late next year. Hoping we don't go into lockdown again. However, today was a good day! Veins are showing up. I miss this level of conditioning BELOW from my last competition in 2015.

Oatmeal raisin cookies! I'm pretty sure I would pick one up off the floor, no problem! Oh and almond butter! Why does it have to be so good!?

Yes, it can be expensive. What I tend to find the hardest is the meal prep! UGH! Looks like you are not far away from stage ready! I think you could definitely do well! What are you thinking? Figure? Physique? Bikini? Bodybuilding? Julio

Nice! Anything planned? I'm waiting to get past this lockdown no lockdown mess before I commit. But I do miss it. Last competition was in 2015. was 52. Itching to do it again.

Hi all, hope everyone had a wonderful day! Just thinking... Couldn't we call this group "the fun group" or "the acquired wisdom group" or even the "mature peeps group" instead of middle agers group?

You did it once... you CAN do it again. I like @snarkybears comment, look at it as "continuing still". We will be here to cheer you on!

Bummer, but yes it does require a lot of support from the wife.

Hello, I'm sure you will get some good advice here, but after 40 years of bodybuilding I believe the answer to your question is unique to you, your activity level and your body. So keep that in mind as you read on. :) In general, if you are looking to build muscle, I would suggest your protein intake in the .75 to 1 gram…

I'm a 5 day split guy. Mostly bodybuilding with some power lifting days sprinkled in. Not a fan of cardio, but need to be. :)
