  • chia pudding! but really you can budget for any reasonably sized dessert in your daily calorie intake. :)
  • Hey grrl you know I am all about another challenge. I know you can meet your mini goal. I think my mini challenge will be to lose 2.5 lbs by the 31st, bringing my weight to 175.5 lbs. :) Wish me luck!
  • When folks have the issue you're having, it's 99.9% of the time due to inaccurate logging - either OVER estimating how many calories you burn when working out, UNDER estimating your calorie intake, or a combination of both. Sucks I know but that's the truth! I have lost 24 lbs since April of this year using accurate…
  • I think a big thing for me is refreshing my commitment every day, as many times a day as necessary. This can mean getting onto MFP and looking at my progress and thinking about how proud I will be when I've made more, looking at before and after pics for people who've successfully lost, reading about the benefits of losing…
  • Hello everyone! Just checking in with you all on my progress. My goal was to be 178 lbs by July 14th. Well, as of this morning I am 178 lbs so I have met my mini challenge goal. :) Of course, I still have a long way to go and plan on getting down to 150 lbs. Right now my goal is to be that weight by February 2018 but who…
  • Uh oh!! I hope you can get back on track :) Well I *KNOW* you can get back on track!
  • Love the advice here. Meds definitely can affect our appetite and moods, but in truth, the meds themselves do not cause us to gain weight. Keep tracking your food and exercise and be honest with it and you'll do great. I hope the new med helps with your symptoms! Good luck friend :)
  • Hello all, sorry I have been absent. I was on vacation this past week and retained my weight, which is an accomplishment in and of itself, but I didn't have much to report! I am not due for another weight in until Wednesday of next week. I will definitely be checking in at that time and hope everyone else is doing well. I…
  • Beautiful couple!! just love that you guys got healthy together -- a perfect example of "in sickness and in health" lol
  • Stuff like this is why I keep so active on MFP. I love it. Way to go!!!
  • Good morning everyone, just checking in on my mini challenge. I lost 2.2 lbs last week, bringing my current weight to 180.2 lbs. :) Less than 2 lbs to go until I meet my mini challenge of being 178.4 lbs by 7/14!!!
  • I love beer and chips! I also really enjoy an oaky glass of merlot (or two). Awh heck, I love chilled white wines too. :) I still enjoy these items in moderation. 20 lbs down so far! As others have pointed out, it may slow the weight loss a bit, but you really have to ask what is sustainable for you. I know I wouldn't want…
  • Wonderful progress. I love that you can see how much difference 10 lbs makes on your frame. WELL DONE :D
  • Grrl, you are blessed with amazing hair. And you look SO FABULOUS! WTG!!!!!
  • I don't mean to be pervy, but grrl, that booty don't stop! You look so fab!
  • Can't agree with this more! WELL SAID! I pack my lunch including 1-2 low calorie healthy snacks for my work day. By reminding myself only to eat what I brought, and checking my daily calorie count on MFP before making a decision about what to eat, I have been able to avoid the temptations (so far) that are also in my…
  • Love this. Congratulations on your progress and best of luck with the remaining weight. You got this!
  • I have so many, it just depends on the need of the moment. I would say though that these three words are on my mind a lot: motivation, determination, consistency. They're the ingredients to my nearly 20 lbs weight loss and they're going to be the same ingredients I need to lose the next 30 lbs.
  • Hello guys, I'm Kassey (rhymes with "sassy"). I have been vegan for about 9 years -- my 10 year veganniversary will be in January. I ditched animal products purely for ethical reasons. I am a very political person. Plus, I absolutely adore animals. I consider myself an "animal lover" for sure, but more importantly, I…
  • Almost every week. I do a vegan style pizza from Pizza Fire every Sunday, and I have lost 20 lbs since April. I do create a very drastic calorie deficit during the week to allow for two treat meals on the weekend tho, and pizza is usually one of them. :) Sounds like you're doing great!
  • Hey you, that's such an impressive loss for not even 2 full months! Well done! Give yourself some credit :)
  • First of all just let me say to everyone: I am so proud of you. As for me, I started MFP 4/13/2017 (2 months ago) and I have lost 19.6 lbs! I have another 30 lbs to go before reaching my goal. :) I hope to be there by February of next year.
  • Hi all, so good to see you all again on MFP!!! As of today, 6/14/17, I am 182.4 lbs. By 7/14/17, 4 weeks from now, I hope to be 178.4 lbs, meaning I want to lose 4 lbs in 4 weeks. Wish me luck! And best of luck to all of you on reaching your goals :)
  • Love this, congrats to you lady! Keep up the great work. :)
  • Just for some context, I am a 5'5 woman and weighed 202 lbs in April. It was scary for me to realize how much weight I had gained in graduate school so I started my MFP account and got serious about my eating and exercise. Right now my goal weight is 150 lbs -- lighter than I have ever been as an adult. However, the BMI…
  • Hello handsome! You look amazing!! thank you for the inspiration. I am 18 lbs down, hoping to lose 52 lbs over all. FEEL THE BURN lol
  • Just google "coping skills" and you can get tons of ideas. Some things that really work for me are: outdoor walks, playing with my pets, taking a hot bath with scented salts, painting my nails, playing video games. Just make sure you find things that you enjoy that you can do every day. Getting into a self care routine…
  • Wow. Just wow. You are so amazing. I know you are still working on your body and haven't met all your goals but... please give yourself credit for how far you have come! You look SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE AND HAPPY in your after pics. Honestly. I can tell you feel better and that your outlook on life is different just by…
  • As many have already pointed out, you really need to track calories in order to lose weight. Adjust your parameters on MFP, measure your foods, and log log log! Based off what you're saying here you may be eating too many calorie dense foods, too. Since I am watching my calories in an effort to lose I eat things like…
  • Just gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. LOVE YOUR OUTFIT IN THE AFTER PIC TOO! Thank you everyone on MFP for the inspiration.
