I completely agree. Try eating some more protein, cut the sugar, and try to eat unrefined carbs.

Definitely lift! :) I'm 26 and 5'5. At my heaviest I was 220lbs, but started lifting when I was around 180lbs, now my body has settled around 160lbs.

You will definitely start to see a difference. Just don't get frustrated and keep going :) My weight has been staying around the same area but it's slowly starting to have some progress (hopefully this doesn't jinx it!)

You're body is either probably gaining muscle and/or holding on to the fat since you're not eating enough. Once you start properly feeding your body it will melt the fat away. When I first started calculating I didn't realize how little protein I was eating! I was mind blown!
