  • Joined this challenge again for another month. Best, and toughest challenge I have found on MFP. No weigh ins. Just focus on consistency (activity, tracking and budget). Great community and builds habits that keep you healthy for a lifetime.
  • @mram3582. Sorry to ask, as I have not been reading the Flab-u-less thread. Is anyone else willing to take captains role? I can step in and do the data entry, but I am not competing. I cannot promise I will have time to do read the thread daily and act as encourager.

  • @BMcC9. This is a tool to help with emotional eating. The plan is to listen to your body and STOP eating if you get to 2 or beyond on the scale. Anything higher than 2 and you need not consume any further (irrespective of personal or social circumstances). It tries to get your brain re-connected with your body's internal…

  • @craigo3154 forgive me pls. What is TIA? [/quote] @swauters. Thank you for asking. You are the first to ask. TIA is transient ischaemic attack. Also known as stroke or mini-stroke. The branch artery occlusion in my right eye (putting a permanent shadow in my peripheral vision) is classed as a mini-stroke. This painless,…

  • @Chinkiri. @SuziQ113. I am only getting 5 - 5 1/5 hours a night, but that is not enough for me. I really need about 7 hours. This shortened sleep is only recent (last few months) and is a by-product of medication and what I am going through. I can force myself back to sleep, but then it is not really restful sleep when I…
  • @RangerRickL Happy Birthday Rose. Have a great day.
  • @lacatgirl. COVID-19 is supposed to add increased stress a number of systems, particularly the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Any pre-existing condition in these systems increases your chance of complications. Cutting out entire food groups is rarely healthy and often long term unsustainable. However, making small…
  • April 18 Exercised: Yes (4km in 32 mins - hills) Tracked: Yes Budget: No (but intentional) Shorter walk interrupted by a phone call. Phone call was from the person who was best man at my wedding. • @SuziQ113. Thank you for posting. No, you are not overstepping. I find counsel and comfort in your words, not criticism. It is good you could see your mothers "manic" episodes in advance and were able to adjust. I am also sure that there is a genetic component to what both I and my daughter are going through. ASD has a…
  • April 17 Exercised: Yes (7.5km in 64 mins - hills) Tracked: Yes Budget: Yes Longer walk again today. Better day today mentally. @RangerRickL. I limit my exposure to news to less than an hour a day (and usually just a quick scan of the headlines, then only dig into articles that interest me). I find news is often too…

  • @juliemouse83. You (and other healthcare workers) are doing an amazing job. Many are indebted to your incredible efforts. I hope in your PTO you are finding some time to unwind and forget about the rest of the chaos. Hopefully you can catch up with friends and family (even if only virtually) and get the support and contact…
  • @inshapeCK. Well done on the loss. The unintentional reduced intake can make a big impact, particularly on reducing inflammation. Also do not be too hard on yourself for the self sabotage. When you have been good for so long, when you let the brakes off a little to reward good work, it can have a snowball effect. Combine…
  • @HASWLRS. Happy birthday. Hope it was a memorable day for other reasons too. I hope your son is fine now. Finger injuries can be painful for a while.
  • @AmyG1982. Done, and added recorded weight that was posted.
  • @Krysless2. Done. Not a problem.
