Green smoothies are great! People say they don't help you loose weight because it's just calories in and out but the important thing is that YOU feel great when you drink them. After I have my smoothie I have energy and I feel like I eat healthier on days that I have them. Not all calories are equal!

If you put sweet potato in it that does help to bind the ingredients better!

Lentils are super high in protein, as well as any other bean. Sometimes I make a little bean salsa and put it in a little wrap with avocado, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce and tomato. It has no cholesterol and the only fat you get is from the avocado which are good fats! As long as you make it low sodium then it's super healthy…
