My doctor also advised me to go on low sodium diet. The best way to do it is to cut all packaged foods. I use plain salt while boiling meats, vegetables.I do not eat salt raw, like salt with salads. Yes I do and even last month I was battling this. Not anymore I started dieting seriously on May 10th and in less than a month I lost 21 lbs thanks to healthy choices. I was 232 lbs, not far away from where you are now. So give it four weeks, dont listen to your wishes and you will succeed. Best wishes.

I started at 232, lost 19 lbs in about 30 days eating only boiled chicken fruit and raw veggies , I also dropped a size, not much exercise. So start tomorrow and it will happen for you too. Just stay away from processed food, oil, butter and cheese.
