  • Congratulations 🎉 to the June Week 4 and grand finale winner and runner ups. Independence Day 🎆 weekend will be here in five days. Anyone have big cookout plans? I do, and I’m already telling myself that I don’t have to overdo it on the calorie intake.
  • Hi. I’m Rachel. I’ve been on the F2F challenge since January. Being part of the community helped me to lose 50 pounds. I have another 15 to 20 pounds that I would like to see fall off by spring of 2022. If I like how I look and feel at that weight I’ll stick to it. I look fit at the weight I’m at now. For me, eating…
  • I had another heavy junk food day…chips, cookies, chocolate covered popcorn, and ice cream. Why is it so hard for me to get back on the non-junk food path once I go down the junk food road? I’m happy with my weight, but I feel horrible when I eat the bad stuff. And the truth is, I will put back on the pounds in no time at…

  • I chose to have my dog euthanized today. Emotional eating happened afterwards. I’m feeling sick to my stomach from all the junk… bread, cake, cookies, icing, chips, soda.
  • I found out today my dog has liver disease and could die from it soon. It’s crazy how it got real bad this quick. She won’t eat and vomits if she does eat. She lays around and doesn’t move much at all. It’s sad. She is a six year old labradoodle.
  • Rachelrjh PW: 149 CW:147 lbs. I’m ready for the weekend!
  • Rachelrjh Week 2 PW 152 lbs CW 149 lbs Feeling good. Ready to take on the weekend... cleaning, errands, work out, biking, and maybe camping.
  • Thanks for sharing @minstrelofsarcasm Amazing accomplishment. You are beautiful in all four pics, but you can tell you made being healthy a priority. That’s wonderful!
  • Hi Ashley, Do you have before and after pictures of the changes in your body? I’m always impressed with those of people, including mine. I’m still not sure about my own personal ideal weight. I have targeted areas where I would like to lose fat, but unfortunately my body will choose where I lose fat which may make me look…
  • Six months of hard work...lifestyle change to last a lifetime. I never want to go back to eating unhealthy and being unfit.
  • @melaniedscott Thanks for covering me Melanie. Surprisingly the scale said 150 pounds when I got home (down two pounds). I’ll feel more confident about it next week when I’m back to my normal routine. Vacay was great..very relaxing. I love Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains. I’m hoping to lose this feeling of bloat…
  • @minstrelofsarcasm Please let me skip my weigh in this week. I won’t get in till late tomorrow night. Combined with the food I ate while on vacation and it being my Tom I’m guessing I put on a few pounds. I’d rather not look. Let me get back into my routine of diet and exercising and I’ll weigh in again next week on the…
  • I love the before and after pictures Kandi. I’m proud of mine too. My son says was that really you. It was only five months ago.
  • Hi new members! Idebrak and cocopops8, you both sound like fascinating people and I can tell you are motivated to reach your goals. My name is Rachel. I joined the team in January of this year when I reached my highest weight of 198 pounds. I’ve since lost almost 50 pounds and I’m thankful for the support this team has…
  • Rachelrjh Week 4 Friday weigh in Pw:154 lbs Cw: 152 lbs 1.5 stones to go until I get to my ideal weight! If I lose 1/2 stone in June, I’ll be at 145lbs. Losing another 1/2 stone in July will put me at 138, and another by the end of August, I will be at 131 pounds. I’m not going to beat myself up if it doesn’t happen, but…
  • Ashley, I love your Mindset! I’m going to let that be my mantra. Would it be so wrong to add that I’m weird too? Is that what you mean when you say life is weird? “Things are weird, people are weird, <I’m weird>, life is weird.” The best I can do is to roll with the punches and take control where I can. The hard part for…
  • According to the scale, I’m on track to lose two pounds this week. Woohoo! Only Friday will tell. I can’t wait. I have a vacation planned... first one since summer 2019. During it I plan on sticking to my diet and getting a few workouts in. I’m not going to mess up all the hard work I put in the past six months. I’m on…
  • Rachelrjh Pw:154 Cw:154 lbs. My mindset needs to move away from the number on the scale so I don’t get discouraged... I’m feeling a whole lot healthier than I did six months ago. That’s what matters, not the number on the scale. Have a good weekend everyone.
  • Non-scale victory: I did my first set of hollow rocks on Monday. In the past, I could only do one-legged modified hollow rocks.
  • My weight is like the stock market... up, down, up, down, but with my weight I want to see the low dips not the highs! In the past week my weight has fluctuated from 151 to 156 pounds. I do not like that, but I am trusting that I am building muscle and retaining water from including more carbs than usual in my diet.
  • @rachelrjh Friday wk 2 Pw: 156 Cw: 154 lbs.
  • Thanks @ljdanny and @minstrelofsarcasm ( Tracy and Ashley) for the constructive feedback. Tracy, I hope you feel fine tomorrow. My second shot was rough, but everyone is different. It’s interesting to hear about the history of the BMI index. I will keep losing weight until I get to about 135 to 125 pounds, and see how I…
  • I’m doing good. I took the day off of work to rest and recharge. The scale says I weighed 150 pounds this morning!!! That’s considered a “Normal” BMI weight for me. My husband says I look great. He doesn’t think I need to lose anymore. And he says that I’ll look too skinny if I keep losing. The BMI calculators say 125…
  • Rachelrjh Weigh in day-Friday PW: 158 pounds CW: 157 pounds I have a busy day tomorrow so I’m giving my weight today.
  • Those are beautiful poodles. I have one standard poodle and one labradoodle (15% lab).
  • @Calli1616 Hi Melissa, I use refined coconut oil to pop the popcorn and then I heat Orville Redenbacher popping and topping oil in the microwave. I’m able to make three teaspoons of that stuff go a long way when it’s heated.
  • Hi Melissa, I’m happy to share! Thanks for getting me to think about the huge changes in diet and lifestyle that I’ve made since January. I’ve studied how to lose weight by reading fitness articles on the Internet over the years. When I make the effort to implement them, they work! My weight loss habits in order from most…
  • Welcome @kaj848 Hi group: I’m Rachel. I joined in January (4mos. ago) when I weighed 198 pounds. I’ve lost 40 pounds and I have dropped 6 pant sizes since then. My goal is to get to an ideal weight for my height of 5’5’’ probably 130 pounds. This will be the third time in my life losing a lot of weight. I will maintain my…
  • Rachelrjh Friday weigh in Pw 162 Cw 158 lbs I finished the month strong. How? Last weekend I did a 43 hour fast. Not because I could, but because I was literally so upset from my job (high school teacher) that I had no appetite at all. I took advantage of the situation so I tried the 2 day fast. It was the first time I’ve…
