  • I can't go to Culver's without getting custard. No fancy flavors, just vanilla. I'd rather have that than their burgers or fries. I know what you mean about the meal feeling so heavy though. If you have cut out most fast food, it's very different to go back and have things you used to eat all the time without thinking.
  • Eggs are one of my favorite foods! So tasty, versatile, and nutritious. Breakfast is often my biggest meal of the day and lately I've been having 2-3 eggs fried "over medium" with a slice of hearty seedy wheat toast for dipping in the yolks. I add on the side either leftover veggies, a piece of fruit, a piece of cheese or…
  • Welcome and best of luck with your goals. I'm getting into running as well and find I enjoy it most of the time haha. Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like a running motivation buddy.
  • Adding you! I have a similar story though my gain has been fairly gradual. Looking to get down to 170ish!
  • Adding you! You can do this! Break it down into mini goals and surround yourself with supportive people!
  • Hi there, we all make mistakes sometimes and can't be perfect. It's important to remember that and bounce back. Always keep in mind your goals and your "why". Sending friend request! I'm always looking for supportive buddies.
  • I'm on season 2! Love it! Sometimes my curiosity to find out what happens next is the little push I need to get my workout in. I typically try to run while my music plays and walk during the dialogue. I set the workout to around 30-40 minutes. I turned off zombie chases though. Too stressful! Haha
  • Me too! I find it helps if I tell myself just to exercise for 5-10 min. By the time I do that, I'm in the clothes and already going so I usually continue. Try setting a daily minimum for yourself, or every other day. Good luck!
  • Well done! You should be very proud. I'm hoping to lose 30 as well. Any tips that really helped you?
  • Well done. You'll feel better when you get past the initial withdrawals. I agree with others who suggest replacing some of your caffeine intake with coffee or tea. Those are low calorie if you don't add sugar. I gave up soda myself a couple years ago, more due to caffeine, and sparkling water is my replacement. I miss the…
  • I'm working my way slowly through c25k (not for the first time). Slowly because I literally run slowly, but also because I have had to repeat many runs and take some breaks due to aches and pains. I've hit a wall in week 6, and I'm sure some weight loss will help me advance. I'm signed up for a 4 mile event soon, so that's…
  • I just guesstimate when I log something that had been cooked in butter or oils. I'll put a tsp or something. I try to overshoot if I'm not sure.
  • Thanks guys! Good plan! It's so hard for me to break these habits! I will try wine only on weekends, I forgot that that worked for me pretty well before. (Obviously I "fell off that wagon") I always want a treat of some kind in the evening so I need to figure out a good substitute. I have a favorite seltzer water I like,…
  • You can do this! I'm adding you now!
  • Hi! Just added you. I'm in the same boat. :)
