In order to lose any fat, u must be at a caloric deficit (eating less than u burn). Exercise of course will help but setting up n tracking calorie with MFP is a more important step. Good luck!
-
do a utube search for hiit/interval training for beginners. there r tons :) pick some short ones An example https://youtu.be/wPpObC5PnwM Do these at home n they take 10 to 20 min only. Good luck!
-
because u r still eating at a deficit to lose fat, u need to eat enough protein in order to preserve muscle mass, regardless how u intake ur protein. try .6 to .8g per pound of CW for now

google 300 calorie easy meals 400 calorie easy meals 500 calorie easy meals there r tons

a study on weight loss result of a group of 200lbs+ people shows that up to 24% of muscle mass was lost for the people who.didnt lift n next to no muscle mass loss for people who lift so lift asap :)
-
like the above said, u need to cut fat while preserving muscle mass. 1. set up MFP to lose .5lbs/week 2. manually set protein intake goal to .8 to 1g per pound of CW 3. continue to lift until u like what u see in the mirror (now u lift to preserve n not to gain muscle) 4. once goal is achieved, adjust MFP to maintenance or…
-
agreed with the above said. start lifting or HIIT for beginners n eat more (500 or 750 over maintenance + whatever u burned from exercising). it will put muscle definition n meat on ur body in a nice way. trust me, u do not want to put on 20 lbs of FAT. it wont help ur health that much
-
IMHO MFP is pretty accurate in general but doesnt mean its perfect coz we r all different. one of the key factor for success is not to starve yourself so u have to eat well n listen to your body whether it is at 1800, 1900, or 2100. adjust up or down after a few weeks of eating n tracking. whatever way u take u need to…

google is ur best friend. search for top healthiest food healthy recipes etc etc good luck!

have u tried blending ur own smoothies? vegs, fruits, nuts, protein powder, etc. maybe it is easier for u to digest this way? google smoothie recipes, there r tons. u can@have few diff ones a day in addition to ur meals to add vitamins n nutrients to ur system

do a utube search on kenobody. i m sure there r others like it but i know this one by name. basically it is 1. lifting at a slight caloric deficit 2. intermitent fasting 3. make sure u r intaking .8 to 1g of protein per pound of body mass good luck!
-
google the followings; 300 calorie meals 400 calorie meals 500 calorie meals tons of ideas online n u can even import the recipes into MFP
-
welcome to the journey of the next u. this is my 3rd round so heres my 2 cents; :D 1. buy a food scale (the most important u will need) 2. set up a profile with an easy goal at first (start with .5 or 1lbs a week for the first 2 weeks to ease ur body into it). MFP will give u a daily allowance so u dont need to figure it…
-
do a utube search on ketogenic egg diet for cutting. this ripped guy says he lose 16lbs of fat in 6 days on it while lifting but he went off of it as soon as he got what wants.

life will always try to get in the way regardless of age n thats why ive been working out on n off seriously "life get in the way" only when we let it. nowadays, theres utube, google, MFP, free online workout n nutrition plans, theres only one excuse if we dont workout - by choice or LAZINESS. follow a utube 10 min HIIT…

i had a friend n she was 97 n 5.6 n she cant gain weight doesnt matter how much she ate. she gain 10 lbs after working out for a couple of months but she lose it all whenever she stops. its like her body only started to absorb more when its forced to. maybe u have a similar condition n working out regularly will force ur…

do a search on kenobody on utube. they specialise on lean bulk.
-
1. do the above said 2. make sure u intake .8 to 1g of protein of ur LBM to growth muscle mass because u will get some beginners gain if u do pregressive overloading (keeping lifting heavier until u like what u see in the mirror) 3. adjust caloric intake up or down according to how ur body is progressing GOOD LUCK!

do a utube search for hiit for beginners. there r tons :) some examples https://youtu.be/wPpObC5PnwM https://youtu.be/q20pLhdoEoY https://youtu.be/jIkNXS-ETs4

do a utube search on HIIT or full body interval training. U can do them anywhere n some doesnt even need any equipment. There r tons so pick ur own level. GOOD LUCK! Somewhat easy https://youtu.be/0DSrudz6IVY Not so easy https://youtu.be/vK_HNVyWjgc Advanced https://youtu.be/ThnZ0n-7x4E PS FYI these won't help u if u want…
-
No you won't gain any muscle mass unless u INCREASE reps and/or weight so use the same weight n rep n u will be fine. BTW, CONGRATS!
-
same here. injured my collar bone n gained 20lbs. been here since mar n lose 15lbs so a few more to go. good luck

whatsur MFP plan r u on? to gain, lose, or maintenance? u want to gain muscle, r u lifting?
-
up ur carbs for 1 or 2 weeks n see what happens
-
it might be the way u walk/run. go check with a specialist or something like a Running Room where they do a walk test with u n recommend a correct pair of running shoes for u. i had the samething n it was the wrong shoes. go see if thats the case with u
-
i m not saying it will make it more accurate n nobody said halfing anything. i m cautioning beginners not to eat back ALL of the calories they burned because MFP is inacurate in that department. i professed to know everything so plz make a better suggestion if u have one
-
maybe i should have said something useful n less confusing like this "awesome that u r here. we get u n we all believe u can do it! GOOD LUCK!!!"
-
what u r thinking with doing a machine circuit is FINE. free weight from a purist perspective is 'better' because it requires u to use ur stabilizer muscles as well but it is harder to get into n i dont recommend it without a trainer. its like would u rather learn to drive in a corolla or in a van? still u should get…
