  • I'm 5"8 SW 147 (11/1/18), CW 141, GW 135/130, this is my cut weight before I bulk with muscle again. Previous fitness at athletic standard prior to a leg injury rendering me unable to walk for 10 months and being comforted by pizza :P Now I'm working my way back up to competing standard.
  • Good going sweetie! Think it's fair to go off the rails a bit when something screws up your plans so drastically like an injury. Well done for getting back on track so quickly! You got this! Oh yeah and good luck on your MRI results, I hope it's not a full rupture / tear or not requiring extensive reconstructive surgery.…
  • This is why I use a back pack when I go food shopping.
  • My coffee this morning was amazing. Italian Roast Lazy Sunday. 10/10.
  • Aww man, my heart goes out to you. I spent 10 months feeling heartbroken. The first month I couldn't stop sobbing as I was supposed to be competing and in the best shape of my life all to come to halt. Pizza was my only comfort, so props to you for sticking to your fitness and not falling down a well of self-pity and…
  • Know them feels. Broken tib and fib, cartilage damage and a ruptured ACL; rehab was a *kitten*. Hope you have a speedy recovery and rehab isn't too hard!
  • Does it always have to be the exercise bike? Sounds like you don't enjoy it and based on my experience with stationary bike you're only looking at burning 120-170 calories max and probably on the lower scale if you're not enjoying it. Since you're a stay at home Mama there are plenty of fun fitness videos on youtube, do…
  • My Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 2+ hours in the gym, Sunday 6-7 Hard skiing and Monday is my rest day. I'm recovering from a pretty serious accident and not being able to walk for 10 months, damn was it hard to get back into cardio and working out from sedentary without thinking 'is this too much too soon'. Stick with it,…
  • Skiing 6-7 Hours on a Sunday, Tuesday - Saturday 2+ hours in the gym and Monday is my rest day. Rinse and repeat! Gotta love ski season ;)
  • Weight loss doesn't seem a huge issue to me now as I'm seeing inches go but the scale not moving as much as I am still quite slender however I am seeing the lost muscles in my legs increase in sight (AMAZING SIGHT). I feel great and energetic but I guess I am quite cranky when I get home from training.. As I said there are…
  • Yeah I'm the same with menstrual weight, I usually yoyo 5lbs of water. I weight myself in the morning every day before breakfast and work out an average to eliminate false water variations, I'm also focusing more on measurements over weight anyway with 3 inches down. I guess I'm trying to establish whether to bring my…
  • See, that's what I thought too! My weight loss is too modest for the calorie intake/output however I have been regaining muscle in my legs following the muscle degradation of my injuries and not being able to walk. From athletes I have spoken to it's not the uncommon to get newbie muscle gains that quickly when returning…
