I make sure I do meal prep and bring into work. Both of these can be eaten cold or hot. 1) Chicken Fajita Lunch Bowl (251 calories - or slightly more if you use 1 whole chicken breast per portion) This makes 4 portions, I make ahead on Sunday night. I eat this cold, but you could eat hot too 1) 2 chicken breasts,…

I think 1200 is a bit too low to start off with and as they've said above may result in increased cravings etc. You want to make sure it's sustainable. It doesn't mean you can't get to 1200 (I eat 1200-1300 now), but I would recommend going in stages so that it becomes a lifestyle change! :)

I have to pretend to anyone around me that I'm allergic to wasp and bee stings because my reaction when they're around is too extreme...

I'm the same re sedentary desk work and calorie intake. I'm about 90 days in; at the start I was aiming for 1000-1200 and I have noticed that I'm actually losing more weight now I'm aiming for 1200-1300 net. Listen to your body and see what works for you!

I hate it when people use the excuse that fast food, junk food, and ready meals are cheaper than eating healthily. I've been using this app for a few months and have changed my diet completely. My healthy food shop is at LEAST £10 cheaper a week than before. STOP USING EXCUSES TO NOT EAT RIGHT, A CARROT IS NOT MORE…

I'm 5ft6 and 55.3kg (c. 123 lbs), and down 5.3kg (just over 11 lbs). 25 and living in London. I realise I'm not 'overweight' but I've been changing my diet to ensure I'm getting all the right nutrients, and exercising more to make sure that I'm healthier and stronger. Happy to connect with like-minded people and those…

Have you been using a scale? Lots of people think they're eating under their calories but the portion sizes are off. When you start eating differently and exercising more, your body will also hold on to a bit of water weight for a short time.

Elderflower cordials are my go to now for carbonated! However, added sugar in these too. As long as it's not all the time, it's fine. Moderation!

1) If you think wheat might be the problem, try eating more rice, cous cous, or quinoa dishes (stuffed peppers, perhaps?). You don't need to cut out carbs completely. 2) Cutting out certain carbs might make you feel very hungry, so make sure you're eating healthy fats such as nuts, avocados, fatty fish (like salmon), which…

Flatten with a rolling pin, marinade with spices or herbs and light coating of olive oil. Bake in the oven for 26 minutes at 170 degrees celsius if a fan oven (or whatever the equivalent is in the US), and then make sure you leave them to rest for a few minutes after taking them out. Leaving it to rest is key as it locks…

Have you tried to change the goals via both the app and website? Sometimes one doesn't let me but the other does!

Starting out is hard, but once you start seeing a difference it becomes easier to stay motivated! Good luck! :)

It's frustrating, isn't it!!! I have been using MFP for about 80 days and was steadily losing a small amount each week (about 0.3kg a week, just under 5kg in total). I didn't mind it was slow though as I appreciate losing a little at a time makes it easier to keep it off. I'm eating as close to 1200 NET calories as…

Age: 25 Height: 5ft 6 Highest weight: 132 lbs Lowest Weight: I'm not sure! I was smaller years ago, probably around 120lbs Current Weight: 123lbs Goal weight: 115-120lbs (although I'm more concerned with losing inches!) Exercise: cardio (running), light weight training on arms (3kg dumbells), and strength exercises…

Good luck! You can do it :)

I'm 5ft 6 and this photo was taken when I was around 125lbs (56.8kg) and a UK size 10. Good luck on your journey!

I make Chicken Fajita lunch bowls in advance to take to work, and they can be eaten cold or hot. I eat them cold for ease and they're really good and filling! If you're heating it up, make sure it's piping due to the chicken and rice. Makes 4 servings, around 251 calories per serving 2 chicken breasts Fajita seasoning -…

Agreed! You need to make sure you're looking at net calories. If my goal is 1000-1200 calories per day (as close to 1200 as possible) and I go for a run that burns 300 calories, the goal has to be upped to 1300-1500 for that day. I always make sure I eat at least 1000 as otherwise you can't log it on MFP - which is good,…

Try to only weigh yourself once a week too - if you do this daily, the fluctuations can be de-motivating when really it's just natural!
