I used to do a points system. It did take time to get used to.MFP and calorie logging but I find, I now have more control over what I eat, when I eat and seem more aware of the content of the food. Thank u. Will look into TDEE.... I've seen it a lot on MFP, but not quite sure what it is. I've started a weight monitoring app, so.ilk keep that going. I'll have to realise and accept that fluctuations are normal and not get so annoyed / disheartened by them . Thanks again.

I'm set at 1 pound per week....that's 1,510 kcal per day. I eat back some exercise calories but not all most days. Does that sound reasonable ?

I know what to do too....that's the frustrating thing about it in the past ! I get so annoyed at myself but can't seem to get back at it , when I stop. This time will be different..... we must tell ourselves this and believe it ! We can do it..... best of luck to you too !

Not today, but yesterday my kids gave me a small cuddly Easter rabbit they bought out of their own money , as an Easter present. My husband was away working, so it was just myself and them for the weekend... It really made me smile xx

I find it easier to get up in the mornings. I used to fall back to sleep on my mornings off and have no energy all day. Now, once I'm awake, that's it for the day and a lot more energetic too.

I think you're ok doing what you're doing. It's the calorie deficit that causes weight loss not the timing of your meals. I can't go more than 3-4 hours without eating because I've a hiatus hernia and reflux, so small meals at regular intervals suit me. If I didn't have tummy trouble, I wouldn't worry about the timing.…

Thanks everyone. I suppose, to answer a question posed, my goal is 9 stone 8 pounds. It's a weight I feel good and comfortable at. So, presently I'm 9st 12 lb. ... still a normal bmi but I'd like to reach 9st 8lb....I'm 5ft 4". Thanks for advise. I'll stick with it and keep logging like mad!

Most days I log as I go but when I'm working I pre log cos I need to prep a bit more these day . Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Thanks ! Yes? I do prep but when I get home I'm still hungry. Probably doesn't help that I'm.on my feet all day, so.im tired as well as hungry....not a good combo !! I'll try up my protein and try prep a bit more and hope for the best

Sounds like caffeine or sugar withdrawal or both. Maybe just cut back to one coffee a day initially and then one every decond day til you ferl you can cut it out altogether. Maybe allow yourself a mini treat everyday...like a mini chocolate bar. If you find this too hard and you're an all or nothing person.....then…

I suppose it does take time to be able to gauge amounts of foods by eye and know exactly what works for u. I've previously done plans that involve logging and I usually stop logging after about 3 months and that's when it all goes wrong and I slip back into old habits of eating all the wrong stuff and way too much of it !…

My evolving journey.... I know what u.mean. I'd probably obsess if I weighed daily. I might try twice weekly now and see how it goes. A lot seem to weigh daily.... I think I might got bogged down in the number on the scales if it wasn't going as I liked
