Fat-fit is definitely a thing. In my running group there are marathoners and ultra- marathoners who are sooo not skinny.

I've been on both ends of the scale. I remember getting comments from family members that I couldn't wear certain clothes because I was too skinny. But the level of criticism I get for being overweight is worse. Because random people and family members think it's ok to discuss my weight. like fatness gives people freedom…

Lose 1lb this week

For the first time I saw myself on security camera and thought "I don't like how I look". Also I don't like having to pay more for plus sized clothes.

If you eat waaaaay too much jello it gives you rainbow pee for at least a week. Hours at the emergency room freaking out the drs and nurses with neon orange, bright green, blood red and purple pee. It was something they hadn't seen before. Me, I thought I was dying :(

I live in the Caribbean, so it's $240 local dollars a month. Which is roughly US$35-$40.

1. Have a program that you can follow. So you know I'm going to the gym to do four reps of these 8 exercises. So when you done, you're out of there. 2. Does your gym have quiet spots? Like at my gym, most people rarely use the weight machines in the 3rd room because there are 2 other rooms nearer with mostly the same…

Hiya. I also have PCOS. Losing weight with PCOS is challenging. I'm losing weight but it is happening very slowly. It's taken me 6 months to lose 15lbs. But hey it's still a loss and it's my halfway mark. I've been focused on lifting weights more than cardio and I'm enjoying how I look and how strong I'v gotten.

I love a small gym with a homey type feel with lots of smaller rooms and a variety of equipment. Which is what my current gym gives me

Dig out some of your old clothes like pants or jeans. Especially the ones that were really tight. Put those on to remind yourself how far you've come. You may not have pics but you do have clothes.

MFP gave me 1590 if I want to lose 1lb per week. I'm 5'4", starting weight was 190lbs and now at 177lbs.

We're in a similar boat. My face and neck are some of the last places weightloss shows up on me. Just keeping on logging

Good luck on race day. Enjoy yourself. Your brekkie sounds fine. I usually do an oatmeal with a banana in it.

Also I found out if you eat waaaay too much jello it gives you rainbow pee (orange, red, blue, green, purple) for up to a week. Also it shocks the emergency room drs and nurses. Yeahhh don't ask how much jello you need to eat for that to happen lol

Haagen Daz salted caramel ice cream. For me a serving of that is a whole pint. And I'm lactose intolerant. So the excess cals plus the extended bathroom time should make me avoid it. Uh nope. If it's in the house it's getting eaten.

I am for regulating portion sizes. Some people are truly not aware about what a portion size should look like. In my country several US restaurants have been setting up and their portion sizes are fricking huge. Their serving plates are like flying saucers and drinks look like really tall buckets. Almost four regular sized…

I don't know how other people exercise in the evenings or even at midday. Like who has the energy?? I've always been an early riser even as a kid. So up before the sun to do a run or hit the gym makes me feel alive and rested. Although my gym is packed at 4:30am for spin class. Freaked me out the first time seeing that…

Hang in there. Count your cals and keep going. Your body will catch up eventually. My first 5 weeks I registered no weight loss on the scale. My next weigh in, which was another 5 weeks later it showed 10lbs lost. Which was right in the wheelhouse of the 1lb a week loss given by MFP. Now that 1lb a week did not happen that…

I lost nothing for my first 5 weeks according to the scale. Even with 3 days a week in the gym doing cardio & weights. But I did lose 3 inches off my waist and 2 off my hips. The scale lies sometimes lol. But I do have PCOS so weight comes off very slowly for me.

I have PCOS too and boy does that weight cling lol. My first five weeks tracking cals on MFP and exercising 3 days a week the scale did not move. Not a single pound was lost according to the scale. It took 10 weeks for the scale to show a loss. we do lose weight slower than others without PCOS but it can happen.
