  • I really like these suggestions, thank you. As I am just getting the basics down and staying consistent, this helps with "systems improvement". Will look up the "Mastering Your Adult ADHD" workbook. I recently purchased a pill holder with a timer because I am finding I am forgetting to take my 2nd dose of Guanfacine on…
  • TL; DR (additions re: Success22's comment): * Finally recognized the life skills / independence level potential in my kid * Better parenting skills being established * ACTIVELY taking steps to improve and build my financials * ACTIVELY figuring out a strategy to rebuild my reputation and work product at my job to secure a…
  • TL;DR: Getting up early, with time to get ready properly, and getting everyone to work/school on time on a regular basis with minimal stress and effort has been HUGE for me. HUGE. The Long Version: I have been recently diagnosed. Started with a trial 2 week dose of 25 mg of Vyvanse (half a 50 cap) and 1 mg of Guanfacine 2x…
  • I just wanted to qualify the post in that the changes made I've in my diet over the last 3 weeks towards LC (and that being the only thing I've done) being the only difference I can pinpoint for this.
  • Jameson whiskey, fresh lime & diet Vernor's (ginger ale) on ice has been my go to lately. Tried 100% agave white tequila again on recommendation of a friend. I bought 3 different better than most kinds small bottles to try, but came to realize tequila is just YUK for me. I made it work with Perrier Lime, fresh lime juice…
  • In tracking my #'s within MFP, I noticed my potassium levels have been absurdly low. I have had some muscle cramping and my sleep has been a bit off, so I am figuring my magnesium levels are not within desired limits as well. I ended up buying a magnesium citrate and oxide 'complex' version as I went to 4 stores and got…
  • Have to try the frappe version. I have been sticking with the hot version for now. I go 2 tbsp coconut oil and unsalted Kerry Gold as well with Ceylon Cinnamon, nutmeg and I need it sweetened, so 3 packets of Truvia right now. Looking to scale that back to 2 in the future. I have added a few tablespoons of HWP on occasion…
  • @Libmatos Great food list! Exactly what I am gearing towards. I love that 95% of Keto / LC WOE foods are things I can totally get down with. I am in the middle of phasing out the existing carby food supply in my kitchen as I am working with a budget at the moment before going hardcore Keto / LC. Also integrating more GF…
  • I am easing in, expecting to go full force in the next week or so (sugar & wine addicts and need to realistically use up my pantry). 5 days in and I lost almost 3 pounds without really "trying", being crazy hungry, and zero exercise. I am definitely finding my potassium intake is low based on the tracking #'s and my sleep…
  • I think lower magnesium is my problem lately with sleep as well. I am phasing into Keto and my potassium has also drop big time based on the MFP tracking #'s. Supplements are on my horizon, too. My sleep is out of wack right now after making big changes a week in.
  • I've spent the last 2 days delving into everything Keto. Have been in full research mode after starting the hack version of Bulletproof coffee this past Tuesday., 8/22 and doing a lot of related reading. I am slowly / considerably slashing my carbs and paying more mind to the macros as I move along. I am 42 and have been…
  • Add me at will! 42 going on 43...in the midst of kicking 15 lbs to the curb, solo mom to a 6 and <2 year old. Mainly focus on hiking, walking, some interval runs, calorie counting, and making better meal choices. I like my wine though. ;-D If you're into Neville Goddard / Feeling It Real, twas meant to be.
  • I listen to Abraham-Hicks on YouTube if I feel my anxiety/stress building. The emotional guidance scale framework is helpful.
  • Good / great sex. Friendly-enough, on the regular, equitably single, and/or on possible rotation would be most ideal.
