I wake up 30min before I need to get up for work. 5 min dress and drink some water, 5 min warm up, 15 HIIT (been doing a lot with heavy kettlebells), finish off with 4 min Tabata set. Repeat 3 days a week. There's tons of data on shorter workouts are just as good, maybe even better.

Is it painful due to tightness? I'm not a doc and call me cray, but I would check out Dr. YouTube to get a hold of some good hip flexor stretches. Kelly Starrett, Mindpump, smashworks....Google any of those peeps and they might help. My hips we're glued up for years doing squats and DL incorrectly. I'm 41 and....well I…

Interesting thread. I joined awhile back... Oct 1996. 40lbs?? I remember guys overweight and they were allowed in but had to lose during basic training. There use to be wavers for these things....maybe things have changed. Good luck and Thank you for serving....when you get there, you'll make it!!

There's a lot of good advice on here but the problem is a lot deeper than "move more eat less". I have twin boys, 8 years old. One is thin, one is bigger. Both are in soccer, swimming, we hike, and ride bikes all the time. My wife and I don't have junk in the house and eat fairly well. I constantly talk to them about…

Great feed....glad I'm not alone. I tracked diligently for years and felt good. Thought I could "intuitively" eat and got flabby. I know tracking helps me maintain macros but WTH...what did caveman do before mfp?? Hahaha

Yup, this. I only hit SLs twice a week. Hell, sometimes it's all we got, right?. I go heavy and then spend my days off in recovery. Maybe I'm getting old but I rather feel good and not beat down 'most' of the week. 2 solid days are plenty....IMHO

Same...same. glad I'm not alone. Thanks for the feed

Jason Fung is the greatest!

I make sauerkraut all the time. My tip: look online and pick the simplest recipe, I've actually invested in fancy breathers/ventalators but my best batches can from a masson jar with a small hole punched in the top. As far as kombucha, I'm sure some will hate me, but you can get a SCOBY on Amazon. I had mine for years.…

@bjwoodzy Hahaha...I would too. Looks good!!

If you're in ketosis, then I would consider it's a success. Your tolerance is unique to you. People think it's crazy but I've tested around .5-2.0 m/mol with consuming over 100g carbs. If your "fat adapted", crush it in the gym, it's possible.... honest.

So true, does keep things more balanced and seems like a longer term strategy.

I switch things up constantly. For example, I knew I had a huge Father's Day feast so I fast 24ish hours on Friday, and today (Monday) did another 20 hour fast. I was good all day. Actually didn't even drink coffee just for the challenge. But on most days I'm in the 16/8 - 18/6 range. I've been doing this for sometime to…
