@Walela617 I was wondering which scale app you're using. How accurate do you think it is? I'm thinking of using one myself. Good luck reaching your fitness goals.

Hopeful and excited about a fresh new start in September. A special thanks to @mtaratoot for keeping the challenge going. It helps to keep me accountable and I need that right now. It's nice to see others continuing their journey from month to month with this challenge. I am always happy to witness the progress you've madeโฆ

Didn't make my goal for August. Weight loss seems to have slowed down to a crawl now. I am still eating healthy and watching portion size, but what I haven't been doing is using the app to record my calories these last two weeks. I think that's what is doing me in. I will have to go back to that for September. Good luck toโฆ

I didn't log my calories this week. It was also my birthday so I did a bit of celebrating. Gained a pound. I'm not going to beat myself up about it. You have to live a little sometimes. Onward and upward (or downward since it's weight we are talking about). Have a good week everyone. Weight Loss YTD: 11.5 lbs. Ultimateโฆ

Greetings fellow MFP members, I'm thrilled with my progress this week. I am dog-sitting so I was forced to walk a lot more. That may have done the trick. I also stayed within my calories 5 out of 7 days, which seems to be the best I can do thus far. Hey... I will take a 3 lbs. drop anytime I can get it! It kind of made upโฆ

@Michieb125 You're absolutely right! Thanks for the encouragement. I did some research yesterday on counting macros. I thought maybe that would speed things along. After applying the formula to my own stats, I figured out that I would need to eat 1,630 calories daily just to maintain my weight. Since I am averaging aboutโฆ

Hi. This week's weigh in was disappointing. Although I stayed within my daily calories, I only lost .5 lbs. I should have had better results. I don't care for intermittent fasting, but I do recall getting better results last year. Eating within a 6 hour time frame, while fasting for 18 hours is really difficult for me.โฆ

Hi Everyone, Thank you @mtaratoot for continuing the challenge. I restarted my weight loss journey (for like the 30th time) just last month. I was at my heaviest 194.5 lbs. I had been trying on my own during the Spring to lose some weight. I would have a few good days, or a week even, and off I went again (usually for Iceโฆ

@deepwoodslady Neither could I :/ Are we sure there will be one?

Hello Everyone, I noticed that I do better when I keep busy. I made a list of some chores I wanted to tackle this week. I scheduled a task for each day, and focused on getting it done. My hands and mind were occupied, so I wasn't tempted to eat (as much). I also made sure I drank lots of water throughout the week. Hope youโฆ

Hi everyone, Back for another run at this. (7/18). I was doing this challenge last summer and enjoyed some success with support from the MFP community. I met a few great people who helped me stay focused on my weight loss journey. Good luck to all of you on your own journey. July Start weight: 190 lbs. July goal weight:186โฆ

@takinitalloff Iโm going to read that book. Thank you for thatโฆand for sharing that quote โDiscipline is self-loveโ. It resonated with me.

@evileyefirefly I agree with you. You canโt deprive yourself for life. And this weight management thing is very much a life long marathon, not a sprint. That said, The problem is that once I taste sugar, it makes me crave it more. I think thatโs what sugar is designed to do. What should be a very sporadic thing, turns intoโฆ

Hi. Another tough week where I struggled. Iโm having a difficult time eating right. The level of stress at work is debilitating. I tend to eat my stress. I really have to dail it back, and learn to put myself first. Iโm always been really bad at that. Everyone elseโs needs seem to come ahead of my own, and I know itโฆ

Hi. My weight loss stalled for the last two weeks, but itโs no mystery as to why really. I was feeling deprived and I felt like if I didnโt give myself a little wiggle room, I might abandon ship and go back to my old habits. Yes, it so easy to go back to those awful old habits. So, I had pizza one day and a cupcake a fewโฆ

@takinitalloff Thatโs funny. It feels like Iโve been doing this for so long now that it should be 2024. Four months tends to feel like an eternity when you are denying yourself the foods you really would prefer to eat and feeling hungry most of the time on a daily basis.

Hi. Iโm down 1.5 lbs this week. Happy to be in the 160โs again. Itโs been a long time. Overall, I feel better. Iโm not gasping for breath going up a flight of steps anymore. Im so glad I finally made up my mind to commit to this journey. Complaining about it wasnโt working for me. This is a better approach. And thank youโฆ

Good Morning MFP Buddies, Here we areโฆ the final weigh in of the challenge. I did really well this week even though I missed my challenge goal by 2.5 pounds. Iโm pleased. This week, I increased my walking and decreased my caloric intake by 150 calories per day (which Was super difficult for me). Iโve lost 28.5 pounds overโฆ

@takinitalloff I suppose thatโs true. I just canโt see doing anything more than what Iโve been doing to move the numbers on the scale any faster. I am giving it my all, so itโs going to have to be enough. Thanks for the encouragement. Congratulations on reaching your Sept goal early. Heck of a job! Proud of you and theโฆ

Hi. Would love to join. Iโm in. Thanks.

Hi. Iโve been really busy with work and havenโt been able to devote as much time to food prepping and grocery shopping the way I normally do. I find itโs key to success. I have continued to keep up the walking however, and itโs so much more enjoyable now that a hint of Autumn is in the air. The weight loss has leveled off,โฆ

Hi. I had a pretty good week. I kept my calories in check and got a lot of walking in. Iโm feeling better about myself and trying my best to stay motivated. This weight loss journey feels like a full time job. Anyone else feel that way? @takinitalloff You are doing an excellent job! So happy for you! Keep goingโฆ CHALLENGEโฆ

@deepwoodslady . Well arenโt you sweet. Thank you! Iโd be happy to share with you what Iโve been doing. Itโs extreme and I know it, but with a bum thyroid, thereโs no other way (for me anyway). I forego breakfast for a walk. I track 8000 steps on my fitness tracker. At 12:30PM, I have an Organic plant based protein shake.โฆ

Hi. The time and effort Iโm putting into this is finally paying off. I actually feel better and my clothes are fitting better. Congratulations to others who are meeting their fitness goals. Donโt be so hard on yourself. Those of us that struggle with weight issues have done the same thing time and time again. Menopause can be rough, but with hard work, you will get the weight off. It may just take longer. But the hardest part is overโฆ you made up your mind and started again. Itโs all you can do. No use cryingโฆ

@takinitalloff . Thanks for the encouragement! I think you are doing great too. Losing weight is a difficult process, but so worth it in the end.
