can you find me any studies saying the contrary? Honestly. I've given you more evidence then you could ever give me and some how I'm wrong? okay.
-
Woooo science!
-
They literally all reviewed "fat but fit". Why would you need to do more than one study if one study proves "fat but fit" wrong? The thing with science is that once it's proved with evidence you don't really need to look at it again.

Oh stop kidding yourselves. Swimming cuts your weight significantly so it's literally less taxing on the body. Being overweight is not in and of itself unhealthy. It can raise your risk of disease, but regular activity can decrease it. No. Having more fat on your body raises your risk of disease, yes, which makes it…

Being obese is not healthy. You can do all the yoga poses you want but just being obese, just having more fat on your body is not healthy. I think there's a difference between loving yourself and then thinking being overweight is okay. This is the slippery slope of "body positivity" and "fat acceptance". You hear these…

If the community exiles everyone trying to "better" themselves stop following that community. Body positivity is a made-up thing so it can literally mean anything to you. A lot of youtube vloggers or instagram stars have no want to better themselves and get healthy. A lot of them are in denial. But there are also a lot of…

I would say because the only reason you gained weight from your birth control is from an increased appetite 800 calories a day is not realistic. 800 calories will leave you hungry especially with your increased appetite from your birth control. You are not gaining weight on 1200 calories a day. Log everything, try it out…

I'm in Ontario, Canada. I think it's been a couple years now but they took the taxes off pads and such here. There was a petition and a couple months after that it was a thing.

I eat pretty much whatever I feel like eating I just fit it in. Or if I'm really craving something high-calorie I'll only eat that that day. Not the greatest but it keeps me on track and not gaining. I think the biggest thing is not being hard on myself. I've lost a lot of weight so far so sometimes I'll say "what's a 1lb…

Ok I understand. Yea if I buy ground beef I usually get the 73% because it's really cheap, that's why I switched to ground turkey. Makes sense!

For so long I thought losing weight was hard. As soon as I found MFP I couldn't believe how easy it was. Honestly, it's so easy. I think the problem is that people have no idea about CICO. In schools they teach kids that as long as you eat enough vegetables and fruits you'll be healthy and that's it. I don't even think of…

I thought ground turkey had less calories than ground beef?

It's a lot healthier to be unhealthy with a normal BMI than unhealthy and obese. I think the BMI chart exists for a reason. Just having more fat on your body is unhealthy and not having enough fat on your body is unhealthy. I think people should strive to get into the normal range for their height and age. It's a good…

Highest: 230lbs Current: 161.5lbs Goal: 125-135lbs Not sure yet.

I lost 70lbs doing no formal exercising. All you need is a calorie deficit to lose weight. I'm waiting til I get to goal and maybe I'll start building muscle, maybe not tho. I haven't found an exercise I like yet lol

I'm in Ontario, Canada. Junk food is already kind of taxed. Not in the way that junk food has it's own specific tax but that "normal" grocery foods aren't taxed at all. Anything considered a snack food has HST.

Always looking for active friends! MFP streak of 140 days and 70lbs down.

An 18 UK is a 14 US. Hopefully this is the explanation because otherwise it still doesn't make any sense lol

I haven't been shopping yet since losing 65lbs and now I'm scared lol and I thought it was hard to shop for clothes before -_-

It is 7lbs from obese... you said 190 is a 28.9 BMI, and obese starts at 197. That's 7. I'm not really sure where 17 is coming from? Unless I just can't see something. I don't know what to say to you. You can wear a small but you can fit a 2x. Do sizes really vary THAT much? That sounds ridiculous. Anyways, obese is bad,…
-
And your hips? The inches have to come from somewhere. I wore an 18 and was very very round. Even the leg size would have to be pretty big. I was 230lbs wearing an 18. So something doesn't add up here. You never even mentioned you wearing an 18 so no I don't claim to know more about your body. Relax. And a 28.9 BMI is 7…
-
You'd have to have some crazy hip bones to not be obese in a size 18. It's circumference not height. I'm sure height plays into sizes but not an 18. That is some woo right there.
-
Yes I agree nobody should be judged based on how much they weigh or how they look. But the people you're talking about aren't the problem. It's the people that glamorize obesity that are the problem. And I don't think big companies should have to cater to their measurements. It's totally up to a designer what kind of…

There is literally a whole movement based on the idea that a size 16 is healthy, that you can't tell if a person is obese just by looking at them (the thing is you definitely can). Browse social media and you'll see the way the masses think. The statistic "the average US woman is a size 16" is literally the average size of…
