My boyfriend is "naturally skinny". He seems to eat whatever he wants whenever he wants. 5 bowls of pasta at a sitting, 6 slices of pizza, a huge plate of french fries. But because I live with him and am around him 24/7 I also see him not eat much for days at a time. Most of the week I eat more than him and I'm on 1200…

I weigh myself like 3 times daily. I love seeing the scale go up and down. The scale scares some people but if you're accurate with your logging and you're in a calorie deficit your weight will go down no matter what. So have fun with the scale. See which foods make you bloat and how long it takes for your weight to go…

I looked into it after seeing all of the threads to see if it was something I'd be interested in, come to find I already fast for 16-17 hours and always have. Still gained 100lbs. Dumb George Michael.

It wasn't so much about health for me. I was 230lbs and I didn't have any overweight related health problems just things that made my days more difficult. I was so depressed about looking the way I did. I wanted to buy the clothes I liked, I wanted to be less anxious when meeting people, I wanted to worry less about what…

I don't get it. It sounds like a normal eating pattern lol Why is IF a thing? We've been doing it for forever. When I was a kid we would eat breakfast at 8am, lunch at 12, and supper at 5. And then a 15 hour "fast". Do people not track their calories during their "non-fast" period? If you do then why restrict yourself even…

The way he said it is weird. “I don’t ever want to see you look like that again” This sounds red flaggy. Especially since he TOLD you you shouldn't be offended. Why does he think he has say in what you do with your body or how you feel? Weird............

I definitely agree you should be kind, of course. I said in an earlier post that some people just don't know about calories. This is definitely a valid reason. But if you know about counting calories then everything after that becomes an excuse. I think it all boils down to "I don't want to" which is absolutely fine. I…

Most recent NSV... FEELING GREAT! I feel like this will be a long lasting NSV.

Ugh my mother drilled it into my head that white bread is bad all through my childhood. I can't help but buy whole wheat now and whole wheat has more calories :'( A 10,000 calorie maintenance.. that sounds beautiful lol

My smallest shape was when I was 14 so no lol I'm definitely keeping more fat on my hips and am losing a lot more from my waist. I'm loving my new shape.

I started at 230 am now 151 with a goal of 125-130 and I have loose skin. Not a lot but my arms are a little saggy, and my belly (where I carried like 80% of my weight) is flabby. I'm 22 so my skin is still pretty tight so I imagine it will firm up. Meh whatcha going to do tho. I'd much rather deal with some loose skin…

This app is a tool. It doesn't do the work, you do.

My excuse for not working out? I don't *kitten* want to. I haven't worked out at all during my weight loss and I'm doing just fine. People make it more difficult then it has to be. Get your calorie goal, meet it. That's it. Anybody CAN do it. Edit: How would any of these things force you to eat more than you need? Because…

Hmm.. I had thousands of excuses. I was never taught about calories and I guess I never bothered to look for real answers until I was actually ready. It took me a while to find MFP. Googling "losing weight" doesn't always come up with the best results, you get fads, and "quick fixes" but not a lot of people are talking…

Are you absolutely sure your eating habits haven't changed? The reason they say might cause weight gain is because your appetite might grow. It can't actually cause weight gain, only you can.
-
Half a tablespoon is probably around 60-80 calories. You don't need to log anything if you don't want to just make sure you're actually measuring out half of a tablespoon with a measuring spoon. Not sure why you wouldn't log it tho.

Why are you so triggered?

LOL isn't that great? She brought her bucket of feelings home with her and tried to use it on me. I had to shut that down real quick lol

Yes I find myself saying this too. What? Am I just going to go back to gaining weight? No thanks.

I think that if you don't like the term don't use it but don't police what terms other people use because it makes you uncomfortable. Some women want to be ripped and some are happy with being soft. This is something I have to tell my 6 year old when her school is trying to teach her that she has a bucket of feelings and…

MFP would have never given you 900, the lowest it will ever give you is 1200. What does MFP give you? On your diet profile how much weight did you chose to lose? Stop doing extra math, MFP does it for you.
