I would just drink water. Too many studies show that it's just as bad as regular coke.

Weigh yourself in the same conditions every time you weigh yourself. I personally weigh myself in the morning, my undies after I use the bathroom on my scale at home.

You should try c25k (couch to 5k). It starts off with a lot of walking and some running and by the end of 8 or 9 weeks, you'll be running for 30 minutes non-stop.

What does mfp say for your daily calories? The calculators I seen online says that you'll need 2200 calories to maintain your weight and want to be at 1200 to 1700 calorie deficit.

The calories part is about staying within a certain calorie deficit. Lets say you need to eat 1500 calories to maintain your body weight and you want to be at a 300 calorie deficit to loss weight healthily. You would have to eat 1200 calories a day.
