In case of just starting exercising, muscles can grow stronger, replacing the weight of body fat lost with more muscle mass. Being at possible the same weight though being leaner. There can also be temporary constipation.. (up to a few pounds of food remnants left in the body), which can mask 'temporary' any progress.
