I still avoid apples because I don't want to starve from eating too many of them

I do leangains, and consume most of my calories between 5pm - midnight.

A whole medium thin crust veggie pizza with no cheese or meat is around 750-850 calories (dominos), depending on toppings.

It's been hit or miss for me. Currently, though, mfp is syncing my steps from my apple watch.

You don't need to watch any macronutrients other than making sure you get sufficient quantities of fat and protein.

I've never done keto (looked into it, but the changes I'd need to make to do vegan keto look pretty awful to me, so I never pursued it) but I do IF, and I enjoy it since i'm typically only really hungry at night. I only do leangains, though. I did experiment with 5:2, but I don't like it very much -- the low days are too…

I don't use cheat days. A single day isn't enough to reverse any metabolic adaptations, so I prefer to just eat at maintenance for 10 days or so if I need to instead of using a cheat day.

Cats are (they need taurine and vitamin a -- they can't synthesize vitamin a from carotene). However, dogs are omnivores, and not carnivores.

I think it depends on what you like. Some people like sweeter things and are okay with artificial sweeteners, and vega can work fine for those people. Other people don't. I hate sunwarrior, and I have vega on most days. I like orgain better, but in a deficit, i'd generally prefer a meal replacer like vega complete over…

Why is it people 'addicted to carbs' never have some unhealthy focus on squash, beets, peas, and beans. This makes me question whether the carbs are even a factor.
-
I'd stay away from water fasting, unless it's in a metabolic ward type of environment (with doctor supervision).

Or even someone who won't consume their products due to some of the other issues surrounding that company.

Yeah, it's worth the 60-70 calories more to me. I can tolerate some of the no cow bars, but I'd rather not (to be fair, it's the texture more so than the taste that bothers me)

Are you sure you didn't get the dairy-free version (although I'm not sure that there's a cookies n creme flavor in dairy free, but df does use coconut milk). However, that said, I like oatmeal cookie, chocolate and pbcup flavors (dairy free, i've never had the dairy version).

I don't know the answer, but I find the high plank easier too. I think (but i'm not sure) that the high plank works the triceps more and the core a bit less than the forearm plank. Admittedly, the only high planks I regularly do are the ones from Sun Salutation (yoga), so maybe i'm just not doing them long enough and they…

Evasive. The same issues occurred with their baby food 'study'. https://www.snopes.com/news/2017/10/26/baby-food-arsenic/

Hmm, i'm not sure it matters either way. There's no evidence of correlation between what the government recommends and what the population eats.

In the case of biggest loser, they seemed to push unrealistic expectations both on weight loss results as well as focusing almost entirely on training. In that sense, I thought big fat truth was a better show, but at the same time I thought it was sort of boring and not really interesting to me.

I don't log diet sodas at all, and I don't weigh protein powder. The rest of the non-liquids I weigh.
-
It largely doesn't matter, provided your carb intake isn't causing your protein or fat to be too low and also assuming you don't have a medical reason to need to be low carb.

At 193.8, 2lbs is too large a deficit (it's more than 1% of your body weight). I would suggest a 1.5 or 1.0 lb deficit. If you just started then a lot of water weight can be expected to be lost in the first few weeks.

Differences in metabolism usually end up affecting ci, co, or both. They don't affect energy balance dynamics.

If you're more hungry at a certain part of the day, I think IF can work great. I'm usually hungry at night, so the leangains protocol works pretty well for me.

I've got gs cookies in my cube at work. Sometimes I have a serving in the afternoon, although 4 cookies isn't very much for 160C (thin mints).

Non peer reviewed study from the same organization that was heavily criticized for their very similar baby food study.
-
I don't care for the flavor or texture.
-
I don't eat as much variety as I probably should either. It's always been this way, where I kind of eat the same things every day until I get sick of them. It's not the exact same, though, so I do get sufficient variety for micronutrient completeness.

I assume the main criticism of larabars is sugar, since everyone likes to demonize sugar (regardless of the source) these days. I personally think the date flavor is a bit too strong in larabars for my tastes, but I don''t see anything wrong with them if you like them.
