You look thin. I agree with other posters. Start building muscle and toning up.

I find I lose most when I eat lots of healthy carbs and protein. I know some people can eat 1200 calories worth of candy and fast food and lose weight. Not me. I'd rather get my fat from an avocado and have more energy. To each their own though.

My too tight pants from spring are falling off. I feel and look more like my old healthy self

My husband used to drink a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew a day. Another friend Diet Coke..like nonstop. Neither one was/is overweight but they both developed type 2 Diabetes. When I was in my twenties I drank diet drinks non-stop. I'm 5'10 and weighed 129 lbs at the time. I haven't developed Diabetes but I found out that…

You can eat whatever you want to eat. It's your body. Will you lose weight? Possibly, but when you start eating normally you will probably gain it back and then some

I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian. I eat ricotta, cottage cheese, yogurt and drink cows milk some days. I don't quite meet mfp protein goals as I exercise and don't eat back my calories. Vegetarians who still eat eggs, tempeh, nut butter, tofu, nuts, beans and cheese as well as a whey or protein shake should have no problem hitting…

I lose weight in my face first but my stomach is another story. Takes forever to lose there!
-
I'm also 5'10 and over 200 right now. So I'd imagine that's why I'm losing faster

Usually 1300-1600. I get some exercise most days as well
-
Are you getting exercise? try to start with a 20 minute walk every day. Also, increase your water intake. I'm not a fan of protein bars myself. I know they work for some people but I'd rather have calories in nuts or protein like cottage cheese.

Do you drink coffee or green tea? I have been adding coconut oil to mine. I get an amazing boost of energy and it kills my appetite for hours!
-
Amazing! good for you. My husband has diabetes( caused by a medication) and it is hard. Keep up the great work
-
Mine is open too if anyone would like to add me.

I cut out my trigger foods. Cheese, pizza, crackers. I know I would eat the whole thing. It's easier to just live without them. Chew on ice, cucumbers, nuts. Basically I subsitute with a healthier option. I feel better eating a bowl of berries instead of a bowl of ice cream.

I would love new friends!

Awesome. I've done gf off and on myself. I have gluten sensitivity and feel better without it.

Hi my name is Kimmie. I'm from NH and have yo yoed up and down for years. I've been on MFP for about a month now. Looking for new friends to motivate each other. Please add me

I personally would add more healthy fats in like avocado and nuts. What kind of vegetables and fruits do you like? I would start "crowding out" the candy and fast food. When you have an auto immune disorder you really need to watch your diet in order to relieve your symptoms. You are also at risk for developing type 2…

Have you seen a Dr.? Had your body fat measured? 5'11 and 190 lbs could be your bodies"set point". If you look at a weight/height chart for men and figure 5 to 10 pounds to account for extra skin, you are close to on point. I would try increasing your protein and reevaluate your actual calories.

For me I go down a size every 20 lbs or so when I'm over 200. Under 200 it's about 10 lbs per size. I'm 5'10 and apple shaped

People can look different at the same weight and height. I'm 5'10 and when I was 125 lbs and a size 2 I looked too thin. I look best at 160-170 and wear a size eight at that size. I'm a 12 when I weigh 195/200. It just depends on how you carry your weight. I have small hips so I can wear smaller pants sizes. No one…

xxzenabxx, if you are recovered from an eating disorder it's going to be harder to lose weight. You have put your body in starvation mode in the past, it will hold onto extra calories. Get more sleep, up the exercise (get some variety in) and drink enough water. Also, it's important to balance your nutrients. Get a proper…

Right now I am gluten free and vegetarian. So I would say bread. It really keeps the weight on for me. Everyone is different though.
