First thing in the morning then nothing but if later in the day usually a banana about 1 hour before. I don't have caffeine really so no coffee for me!

It is the most amazing feeling to finish a race - run or walk but just get to the end , I set myself little challenges - like run to the next marker or tree - step by step. Whatever you do make sure you go and have a go otherwise you will regret it.

It happens to us all I am afraid - try to eat well , do some cardio and try some crunch / core exercise. I am quite small but still have that belly thing !

4 to 5 times a week for 45 mins to an hour. Alternate between cardio and light weights/core. Sometimes longer but I do what I can abd what my body allows as I am just trying to keep fit and look average.

Asics cumulus have always been my choice - they fit my foot shape well and offer me the support my feet need not to turn over on my ankles. I am lucky though as have small feet so I always buy boys instead of ladies which are cheaper. I did have my feet properly sized when I took up running and I think that's important.

I have just done the same and built some weights in - I just had one session with a personal trainer to get me started and feel more comfortable about the equipment and general gym environment. I didn't want to use free weights and injure myself so all weight machine based - seems to be going ok so give a PT a go.

I would try a personal trainer if you can - most gyms offer a least one free session.

I always go with the lowest as I don't want to cheap on calories but I guess it depends on your end game.
