My goal is to stick to my calories today!

Well she said she is 40... she looks great! Lovely complexion.

I am about 10-15 pounds away? I have been plateauing at 135 since May :/. Trying to stay on track to get to about 125-120 by next summer! It's been hard when I'm so close, though. My highest was 200, I am 5'7.5''.

Jimmy Dean turkey sausage, egg white, and cheese sandwich on an English muffin. Every. Day. We don't get sick of it!

I think before work is usually ideal. I have done after work, and the benefit was that I could take my time and work out as long as I wanted to, but then I would sacrifice free evening time and be too active close to bed, not to mention half the time I really didn't feel like going so didn't. Now I am working on working…

You look awesome, and I agree your skin looks so good! Great job girl. Seriously.

I think it'd be my hair :)

That's awesome! I think I would love that kind of trainer too! I do think it is all about the trainer. I tried one a few months ago, and just wasn't tooo inspired, and also I hadn't fully committed to wanting to get a trainer. When I came for the session, she just asked me what I wanted to work on, so I told her some lifts…

I love both and all animals but my baby is my 13 lb. grey and white long hair ragdoll "kitten". He follows me everywhere and mews "mama"! I grew up in a home with 13 cats at one time, also several dogs over the years, but my babies are my cats. We now have four cats and one dog. It may be a stereotype but I think people…

Update: I saw the PT today and really enjoyed my session! He is a very positive, upbeat, and no nonsense guy, made my workout fun and interesting, taught me good form, it was a total breath of fresh air. I liked it. And I feel healthily worked out rather than pushing myself too hard or being lazy and feeling crappy like I…

Haha I didn't know how to say it.. comforting is an amazing trait. I get a vibe that you are pleasant, kind and understanding, that is what I meant! Of course I am just guessing lol. But that's a very attractive trait!
-
Seems to be a sweet, positive guy! Looks like a comforting person to be around.
-
Wow thanks! This deffinitely helped me sort out in my head my reasonings for seeing a PT. I feel more confident about it now :)
-
Thank you! Those are the things I am hoping to get out of it (better form, how much I can really lift properly, confidence)! I think it will turn out to be helpful in one way or another.
-
Well I think I want the trainer so that I can get out of my workout funk, learn some good form, be told what my strengths and weaknesses are, be less bored and have someone to report my results to rather than just myself. I could do it by myself but just thought having an expert could help with getting excited again and…

Accepting the way my body looks after weight loss and comparing myself to those who were always thin.

I am curious as to what apps you use for logging health related data? :)

Highest was 200 lbs. Pic is from 188 to 135 I am 5’7.5” It took over a year and I want to lose a bit more, you can't see it in my compressing clothes but I do have chunks of belly and back fat.

"Keep your eyes peeled" - Eww!

-how awesome it feels not to have love-handles and flab all around your stomach, just how good a nice firm stomach feels -how having your old favorite high fat or deep fried foods will make you feel terrible (stomach pain, nausea, bloating, gas) -how stuffing yourself full isn't a comforting relief anymore, it's just…

I have been hovering around 135 since May. That is over five months. I know what I am doing wrong, I haven't been hitting my deficit consistently, and have been going over maintenance on many days. However, after this long unplanned "recomp" I am now committed to moving forward and hitting my calories like I know I should…

I think this article may help: https://jcdfitness.com/2009/10/the-former-fat-boy-syndrome/ It's about FFBS (former fat boy syndrome, not sure if you were ever very overweight) which results in being afraid to gain much fat to the detriment of strength goals, and how to overcome that mentally. Basically he advises that you…

Exactly what I was trying to say but said much more eloquently! Haha.

I weigh in my underwear at home and in my clothes at the doctors. I am always lighter at home obviously. I think a lot of the time scales will be a little different from each other and that doesn't bother me. If you just use one scale at home, keep it in the same location, weigh at the same time of day (I do after I wake…
