Friends: No. I have a friend who is is probably around the same as me active-wise, sometimes it's me more active, sometimes it's her. This weekend we went to two yoga classes together, she actually went to two more (two classes each day!). My boyfriend likes to run, we ran two miles together on Saturday and then he went…

Are your symptoms okay? I will be honest - I used to kind of believe I could cure things naturally but I have seen the power of medicine and if I wasn't taking mine I know my symptoms come right back. Joint damage is very possible and happening when you are hurting and pretty much irreversible... I don't want to take that…

I am having a little pain today. I find it really hard to be conscious of my pain or remember what even my symptoms have been or for how long they've been going on. I feel I need to keep a journal or something to keep track because I usually feel fine and forget the disease, though I do have intermittent joint pain. If it…

I am not trying any sort of diet. A couple years ago I did try the AIP diet (autoimmune paleo). I think I felt good at first but after a couple weeks not so much. I can't remember well but I think I was just tired and felt very restricted, over worked from cooking. I know that gluten free is supposed to be good for AI. But…

Thanks. If I continue to flare I will talk with my doctor. I am a little achey today. It's weird, I have a problem with grinding my teeth, I guess due to stress and maybe caffeine intake, not sure but I know when I do my joints start hurting... Hmm.

I usually have a turkey sandwich, with good quality turkey, havarti cheese, ancient grain bread, spinach, tomato, onion, and real mayo. I toast the bread and heat up the meat and cheese in the microwave. It's delicious.

I agree! I tried skipping breakfast early in my weight loss journey and was always starving by lunch and would overeat a lot more easily. Now, I have three meals and at least two snacks. IF is just a fad, I find it does not work for me and many others.

I take it one day, even one meal at a time and don't put a time frame on my weight loss. The time will pass and a slower loss is much more enjoyable and sustainable. I just set my calorie goal and stick to it the best I can. If I "mess up", I think about WHY and then think about a possible solution for the future, and…

Wow!!! Awesome job woman! You look amazing.

Sure! Though I'd probably be most interested in talking about lifting!

I agree, very interesting post indeed! Currently I am 26, 5'7.5'', 133 lbs. but with a pretty chunky middle. Trying to cut down to 125 lbs. or so before a lean bulk or recomp.

For yoga, there are two free yoga classes in parks near me on the weekends I like to go to, plus my work has sponsored ones two times a week after work, so I am lucky. I also like Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube a lot. There is also a website called www.doyogawithme.com that has a ton of free videos. Good luck! I love yoga…

I did this for the first time the other day, it was a class outdoors in a park, and it was awesome! It is the most relaxing.

So I just started listening to a podcast called “Half Size Me” created by a woman who yo-yoed but then found a mindset and way of life to maintain 170 lbs. loss. Someone mentioned it in these forums and I decided to listen one day and I highly highly recommend it! Been binging it all week lol. Maybe she might help. She has…

Well guys, I did it! 1.5 years later and here are my results! I currently weigh 133 lbs., down from 183 when I made this post and from 200 at my highest weight. Still losing a few more but I am almost there. I already made a success post but just thought it'd be cool to update my first ever MFP post. Before (the bottom…

Nice! Care to share what do you do instead? I'm having trouble structuring my evenings and am curious what people do besides watch TV.

I like to dip my dark chocolate squares in PB. It's Amazing!!!!

I relate to you! I've lost 67 lbs. from a size 16 to a size 2 or 4 (depends on the size) right now, and also have a love of chocolate lol. I have tried buying individually wrapped chocolate squares and different types of caramel chocolates but many times end up eating way more than I planned, and those calories add up…

For breakfast every single day almost I have a Jimmy Dean turkey sausage egg white English muffin. All I gotta do is throw it in the microwave (my boyfriend usually does this for me lol). On Sunday I pre-prep my post workout snack which is always 114 grams lowfat cottage cheese and 30 grams blueberries on top. I also prep…
