  • "how do they expect salad to taste good with just 2 tablespoons of salad dressing" If you're buying commercial bottled dressing, maybe you can switch to the lighter version? Honestly, my favorite "dressing" is some olive oil, a little salt, and black pepper. It brings out the natural flavors and doesn't mask them.
  • I swear on my best days sabotage kicks in. Like part of me doesn't want to get it under control. Maybe four decades of out of control eating is just so familiar, I don't want to let it go? Like, I won't know who I am if I say goodbye to this part of me? My mind knows I can't stay at this weight and end on a good note.…
  • When you're ready, seek out someone who has walked the same path as you. As long as meal planning and prep has to remain your (and all of our) way of life from here on out, it could be a helpful, bonding part of a permanent relationship you'll do together.
  • I work from home. I confess I'm coming up with reasons to stay here reading the message board rather than starting work.
