I like them, but I only use them when my alternative is not eating at all (I commute a lot and don't always have time or inclination to eat properly).

I use meal replacement shakes for lunches because either i dont eat or i end up having something that's huge in calories from a take out. I find popcorn a fab snack for when i just need something sweet or to munch on. The ideas above are all awesome too (I will be using some so thanks). Hope things get better

From your op I guess that you dont want to make two seperate meals (healthy for you and whatever he will eat) and that this is putting you off eating well. You could do things that have hidden veggies in them (a bit like you would with a picky child) so he's getting the nutrients without noticing, like blending peppers,…
