I enjoy it very much because I'm diabetic. I still have to see how many carbs are in everything but knowing the calorie count is available to everyone makes me not feel like such a freak.

I just leave mine open because I'm open to suggestions but I'm still going to do what works for my budget and time. I'm always open though to new recipes that are easy though. I love budget bytes. :smiley:

I'll tell ya why, because it is damn hard to concentrate when you have voices in your head telling you five million things and carrying on a conversation about exactly what you are doing at the moment. I am diabetic and sweetners do not raise my blood sugar. Sugar and sugar alcohols do though. I have to watch my carb intake closely or my blood sugar goes through the roof. Been diabetic for years. Have you?

Personally, I never had a problem with carbs until I became diabetic. Too many carbs and wow, my blood sugar goes through the roof. I'd say if you've no health issues, do whatever feels best for you. Your mileage may vary. Go with what feels best for your body.

I too have Hashimoto's but I don't think my weight contributed to my development of the disease. I was diagnosed at age 20 at around 120 lbs.
