I'm vegetarian and aim between 1200-1400 kcal, little more (couple hundred) once or twice a week to keep myself sane. I don't do any hocus pocus tricks with my diet to get more protein or iron, just a lot of veggies and wholegrains. I donate blood few times a year and so far my blood values have been perfect. :)

Mine is open and honest. And kinda boring. I'm meant to be 1200 kcal / day but...... I'm vegetarian and I drink too much tea whilst eating too little protein. There's some in the milk that goes into my tea ......... that counts, right? Right? ...right?

I don't have a scale at home, so I weigh myself every other week at the gym -- I try to wear the same/similar set of workout clothes on my weighing days, and no shoes on the scale.

I definitely have the same issue! I've found out that drinking a lot of water helps a little. I usually fill half a litre bottle after a meal and drink it slowly within the hour. My current goal is what https://tdeecalculator.net/ tells me my healthy weight is. :) I'm aiming for about 5 to 10lbs over that first since it'll be in healthy range anyway, hopefully start gaining some muscle and toning up while losing the rest! I still have about 40-50lbs to go before I get to that anyway, so we'll see.

I've moved countries twice i the last 3ish years. First to Germany and I lost about 10kg (22lbs) by biking a lot and eating more fresh food. My favourite skirt is falling off me and I can only just about make it fit with a belt! It was a bittersweet realization. :)

I don't like to keep a scale at home due to history with eating disorders. I weight myself every other week at the gym. It's really difficult to wait sometimes, but I feel so much better about myself knowing that the number I see represents my overall process better. :)
