Congratulations on your dedication and self-accountability here. I don't know that you can restore the streak. You could send support a message about it and see if they can though. It's always worth asking.

1. Already being done. 2. Already being done. 3. Not since my military days do I follow anyone's lead I don't know. Other than that... This IS my best Monday ever. Next Monday will be my best Monday ever as well. Thanks for the pep talk!!

Always Cheerios - before and after MFP. But, winter in Montana, it's mostly hot cereals - Oat Meal, Cream of Wheat and Rice for me.

Walk. Get outside, weather permitting, and walk. It doesn't have to be far or too much at first. Just take it one day at a time and do it. If not, walk inside. Put on a bright, cheerful, fun movie and watch it (or listing to some fun, spunky, upbeat music) as you walk in place. Play them loud if that's possible where you…

Don't deprive yourself of any foods unless for medical reasons. Just eat proper or smaller portions of them. Helps cut the binging out. Filling up on vegetables has helped me a lot.

If you are not happy with being overweight, they it is totally worth all the trouble. Start slow and steady. Don't try to change everything at one time. Make little changes that are easy, simple changes. Find ways to make substitutions for 'better' calories. Personally, I love food. I have zero issues with eating foods.…

When I was at 350 lbs, I seriously thought about it. But, after a while of thinking of it and knowing someone personally who had it done, decided against it. The person I knew used it as a tool to just eat whatever she wanted anyway. She never learned to control her out of control eating. Yeah, she lost a lot of weight…

Saw a couple good recipes for cloud bread on AllRecipes.com They look great. I'm going to try one of them to see how they fare.

I do, but I don't have a family. It's what we did growing up and I've continued it throughout my life so far.

It's a combination for me. I eat 3 meals a day, as a rule. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Time of day is usually dictated on whether I am off that day or working as to when I eat those meals. If I am physically hungry, I will have 1, 2 or 3 snack periods throughout the day. But, only if I am hungry. If I need the calories,…

I go low carb some days. Honestly it just depends on my mood that day. I love my carbs, but since I was diagnosed diabetic in August, I actively look for better carbs than the junk carbs I was eating before. Currently, I'm following the MFP guidelines of 50/30/20 percentages. But, don't always use all that 50%. Your body…

The vowel symbol named "schwa", written with an upside-down letter e -- like this: [ə] -- is generally used in transcribing English to represent an unstressed and reduced vowel, as in the last syllable of data, the first syllable of connect, or the middle syllable of calico.…

Often is pronounced with the t. Thank you. :D

You are doing great!!! Keep walking. I am also a diabetic, but I am not on any medications. I was just diagnosed in August. You are on the right track. Just keep walking and continue following your food plan. Every diabetic is different in what they can and can't do. I don't restrict any foods from my diet, I just make…

@mikeCFNI Atkins bars are good choices. As well as cheese, peanut butter, plain ol' nuts for that matter, eggs. I'm assuming you live in the dorms at school, being a student. If you have a small fridge, you can do things like hard boiled eggs (can be bought in most grocery stores now already hard boiled) and cheese-meat…

What they said... recalibrate your MFP goals. October was like that for me. I had to do the same thing after losing just short of 40 lbs. I only lost 1.8 lbs for the month. I did the recalculation process and changed my activity level because that has changed for me for winter... I'm down 2.6 lbs since November 1st. Also,…

As you get closer to your goal, you need to look at how you are measuring and logging foods. Do you use a scale in the kitchen for your foods? You really need to at this point. Be as precise as you can. You state you're not very active. Maybe add some walking in to be a little more active than you are. It's the easiest and…

Walk! Walk! Walk! And watch your intake, of course. I was diagnosed in August. My A1C was 6.8 with a avg of 148. I don't take any medications and my doctor queried me on what I was doing. I told her and she said keep doing that. All I was doing was walking and watching my food intake. I haven't cut out anything in my diet,…

The larger you are, the easier it is to lose weight without a food scale. As you get closer to your goal weight, the food scale comes in very handy for losing as it helps track your calories more precisely. I would suggest you continue doing what you're doing if it is working for you. Consider, at some point though, the…

I keep Halo Top in my freezer all the time - well, most of the time. I'm currently eating Chocolate Mocha Chip. Black Cherry is my favorite.

Can't read your mind. CICO does work. If you're not losing weight, then you need to consider a few things. Are your food entries actually accurate? Do you measure your foods every time? Or do you estimate their weights? Our little toys called fitness devices like your Apple, my Fitbit are tools - guidelines. They keep you…

Eat food. Eat more calories than you burn off.

Nope. Total BS as I see it.

As with the above poster, my Dad went through this. Because of the special concerns with your body filtering things and fluids, you really need to speak to a dietitian and your doctor about this.

I know, right! I work in a grocery store. And all those wonderful tasting aisles I used to frequent I seldom go down now - unless I'm helping a customer. Even then, I find myself offering advice on substitutes that are better for them. Great job in skipping aisles that aren't good for you.

Sounds like it's time for a FAMILY MEETING. Everyone needs to be on the same page. They need to understand where you are and where you are going and why. I used to say the same about my A&W Root Beer until I saw how much sugar/carbs was in just 1 bottle. You can't deprive yourself of everything because of a change in diet.…
