I've found that the combo of running and weight lifting helped me both lose weight the most and look and feel my best! I run 4 times a week (mon, wed, fri, sat) for about 40-60 mins and do strength training after the runs. I'm also on a 1200 cal diet, it's very tough, especially since I like to snack- a lot! I could honestly eat a whole pizza if I let myself! However, I am an athlete and I think that losing weight and being healthy will help my performance a lot, I'd like an accountabilibuddy so I'd love to help you through this!

I totally understand your pain! I'm 5'2"... barely, and it's been hard to accept that my body won't look like my 5'8" friend's body. As a cross country runner I also stress over it because I feel like I should LOOK like a runner.
