I hate the gym but mine has a pool and kids are free. Swimming is my favorite activity so I can take my 2 year old with me to exercise AND have fun. I am never, ever, ever dragging *kitten* to get to the gym now that I go for swimming.

Lift weights. In high school I never counted calories or watched what I ate. The only cardio I did was warm ups before getting to the weights and yet after a few months I had to buy new pants because my legs had thinned out and my butt had gotten too big for my jeans.

Try Kiera LaShae (or something like that idk how to spell her name). She's on YouTube and she makes quick dance videos for working out. I don't dance but her videos are fun and even tho my favorite one is only like 12 minutes long it really works out your lower body

I have Insanity Max 30 and love it because it's so quick. I often have to slow down for the moves where you bend over because it makes me lightheaded and/or sick but try to go hard on the other exercises to make up for it. I broke my ankle last month and cannot do insanity until it heals so am swimming instead. The cardio…

Swimming. Even am hour of leisurely swimming burns over 600 calories for me. It's super easy and my all time favorite activity.

I don't mind going any time past 9am but usually go at after 8pm when I get off work. I am not a morning person so going before work is impossible. After work helps me relax and leave all the stress of work behind me. I also love being able to take a shower by myself (my kid always insists on showering with me).

Yes! I allows me to see which meal contains what % of macronutrients and I have learned a lot about the foods I eat because of that. It also lists each food in order from greatest to least for the macros. That way you can weigh the benefits of each food. For example you like that a whole egg has protein but it also is…

I use Oikos triple zero vanilla. It has zero fat, I think 7 grams of sugar and 22g of protein and it doesn't taste bad. I mix blueberries in with it. The plain kind has zero sugar but I'm scared to try it cuz I like sweet stuff!

My workout routine is in 4 day intervals. Day 1 is arms and abs, day 2 is chest and back, day 3 legs then rest for day 4. Which means sometimes I do legs twice a week.

I weigh only when I go to a doctor appointment and at my monthly gym reapplications. I think the number on the scale reflects very little about your health. People should measure the circumstance of their arms, legs and torso instead and use the change in inches rather than pounds. I know someone who lost 4 or 5 inches…

I have about 80lbs to lose. I am aiming for 180lbs just to see how I feel and what I look like since I've been obese my entire life. According to BMI normal for me would be 155lbs which seems low! I've lost 12lbs so far and a lot of inches though I haven't actually measured. I feel a lot better already and my current goal…

Blueberries in low-fat cottage cheese, string cheese, an apple with peanut butter, a banana with yogurt or peanut butter.... so many choices! I also like the Chobani Flips because some of them taste like a dessert but without massive calories. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip.

Walking is absolutely amazing! When I lived by myself I walked my dog every morning and night, plus often walked to my dad's house (about 4 miles round trip). I wasn't keeping track of my diet but I lost 30lbs in a very short amount of time. I'm slowly getting back into the walking groove with my dog and now daughter.

I need to lose about 110lbs. I got down to 220 but then I got pregnant and gained 50lbs. My daughter is almost 2 now and I've lost 12lbs so far. She is getting interested in soccer and I want to be able to play with her. Feel free to add me as I need friends to help keep motivated too!

I have 100lbs to lose as well. What I find helpful is walking. I USED to walk my dog every morning and night, plus sometimes at lunch, plus walking to and from school. I lost 30lbs in a month and I wasn't tracking my diet back then. Now I'm a mom and I've gained the 30 back and some. But I am slowly going back to walking a…

Hi! I'm Jill, I'm 23 and I am committed to become healthier. I want to be able to play soccer and softball with my daughter when she gets older (she's only 2 now). I play piano and flute, I love kayaking, swimming, hiking and walking my dog. My cat's name is Imhotep and he's 17lbs.
