Another Friday. First day of 7 on at work for me, then a 3 day weekend. My favourite student got the job with us!! I'm so happy for her, she worked so hard and absolutely deserves it. So now we will train her in some stuff specific to our practice. The other student worked with one of the people who thought I was bullying…

Wow thats cool @rheddmobile

Hey all. No real news. Just ticking over. Met with my boss yesterday about the bullying comments, she has no concerns about me. Also discussed things with the student and he actually said bullying wasn't his choice of word. So there's that. Food... Had a few off days but haven't gained so yay. I'm not working towards…

Loving the dog pics! Well student passed her test! She absolutely flew through like I knew she would. She doesn't find out till 8th November, but I'm sure she knows. House was a pleasant surprise! They had cleaned the carpets, and left it tidy. A couple of small wear and tear bits but because mum's going to renovate, no…

Help!! I've had a couple of runs recently where during a slight down hill I've felt a pop behind my right knee. It doesn't hurt, but last time it happened - about 2 weeks ago - I had discomfort for the next 2 days. Not pain, just, altered sensation. Then was all good. This morning I felt the same pop. Anyone had this? Part…

We are having a bit of drama here. Mum bought a house here back in April and had it rented on a 6 month contract because she didn't know exactly when she was going to move here. When she decided to move she let the property managers know, and has been living in a hostel for the last 6 weeks. The tenants were supposed to…

@shanaber thinking of you and Hobbes

Yeah he's an artist. His degree was fine arts and he hasn't really done anything in about 15 years but picked it up again when we moved to New Plymouth 2 years ago (wow that's gone fast) Here is some of his work. Very contemporary lol You can also visit his Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ianlewis_artist/ @swenson19…

I'm up at 5am. Going on a family trip for a few days, DH has an art exhibition in a town 2hrs away and we are going over for installation. I'm looking forward to the family time. I'm working on an article for publication. Kinda exciting. Its about to be submitted for peer review! Just making a couple of minor tweaks and…

Hugs @shanaber, hope Hobbes is OK.

Hey guys. Sorry been MIA. Kinda just been trying to get off line a bit though hasnt really worked. I'm just ticking over really. Still running though not training for anything. I was going to do a HM at the end of November but due to current lockdowns I doubt its going to happen. So cancelled the plan I had been following.…

Hey guys. Sorry been MIA. Kinda just been trying to get off line a bit though hasnt really worked. I'm just ticking over really. Had a few good weeks, lost about 5lb. Then had a really rough night on call and ate way too much. Weight is down at least and clothing fits better. Still running though not training for anything.…

OP how is the therapy going? Yes a numb foot can be a sign of diabetes, but usually after years of high sugar levels. Again my response to you as always is talk to a therapist. You continue to post here asking for help, and the best help you can get is therapy.

I have done a couple of runs so far, topped with a lovely 12.4k along the sea front this morning. Spring is in the air!

Well August ran away from me! I managed 91k for August. Yay. I'm aiming for 110 for Sept.

Hey guys. Life's been a bit crazy. Works been hectic. Not busy, but lots of little stuff adding up to a lot. I have been running mostly in the morning, it's been lovely! Lockdown running is great because so few cars. Daytime running involves a lot of dodging other runners/walkers though. I went for a long run today, it was…

Yay for sale despite lockdown
-
Hey all. Ah life went complicated. Because we've been thrown into a full hard lockdown, work has turned upside down. We have gone into pods, so our team has split into 2 teams so we work separately. It means if anyone in a pod gets sick, we don't lose the whole team. Because how we work, we would all have to isolate if one…

Welcome back @7lenny7 we've missed you.

Hey all. Scale is stagnant. Actually kinda happy with that atm. Lockdown stress getting to me. Went for a long run this morning, was fantastic though I didn't take water and hit a wall at about 8k. Still longest run in a few weeks, loved it.

@skippygirlsmom overall, as a nation of only 5 million, we pretty much agree on a full lockdown. We've got the benefit of seeing what's happening overseas with delta variant. NSW in Australia is a good example of what happens if it gets loose. It was only 1 case yesterday, but this morning it's already up to 5 confirmed,…

Ohhh this post hasn't aged well lol! Biggest hugs. (Auckland has gone into full lockdown for a week, have a community case of covid, first in NZ for months) Mum moves (hopefully) in 10 days (not that we are counting). And yeah very much looking forward to a local HM
-
@ContraryMaryMary thinking of you! NZ has gone into full lockdown for a week. Damn you covid
-
Hey guys. Still here reading and liking/hugging. No news really. Hanging out for my mum to move, and have started a new training cycle. There is a HM in my hometown in November, and I've decided I'm keen to do it.

@rheddmobile love the pool for the raccoons! We don't have them here, they look sweet but scary lol. @shanaber yay for getting things sorted and glad you never have to deal with that vet again. Well if global warming doesn't exist, can someone explain what happened to the snow on our mountain? We've been wanting to take…

I saw that post! Very strange.

So glad cori is coming right! And yay for new threads, so exciting. @runs_on_espresso that's so annoying! Spent last night playing with my new toy. Got it all set and ready to go, thanks so so much! Will be taking it to work today to work on a presentation I have on Saturday. I'm also on call tonight, so might get tomorrow…
-
@swenson19d you won't believe what arrived today!
-
@swenson19d hopefully cori keeps improving!!
-
@swenson19d hugs, hope Cori is OK! @rheddmobile that's so annoying about the car window! The motor in my car stopped working a few weeks ago. Was a mission to get fixed cause parts are hard to get atm. Hope the housekeeper doesn't bring anything back. @runs_on_espresso I'm calling hormones. I hope it all stabilises soon.…
