  • Morning all. Well I managed my first goal of the month, 5k ran! 39.19 so on the slow side, but I did it. So I guess my goal is to run 5k each week and slowly get faster. I'm aiming for a 30min 5k - which will probably take a few months to get there. No pilates today, and am on call again tonight

  • I ran a 6k sprint session today and it felt amazing. And I think my VO2 max is finally on the upward trend - it was 48 in April when I got covid. I'm feeling fantastic. Its such a good feeling to be on the improvement. Tomorrow is a long run. And I'm really looking forward to it. I'm finding the joy of running again.

  • Day 11 today. I've been on evening shift for 2 days and I really notice how it affects my hunger levels. I'm always so hungry when doing latest (3pm - 11pm). So today was a slightly snack day, though I managed to keep it pretty light. I have made sure I have snacks for later tonight so I don't raid the vending machine lol
