While I don’t have time to watch the video at the minute I used to train in a gym where this guy ate a dozen eggs for breakfast. He done so as was a cheap way to get protein, not being funny but he was very flatulent and it was horrific, he didn’t seem to mind but everyone else did!

Go on a slow bulk, start with 10% calories over maintenance and adjust from there. Best way to keep the waistline. Also use a daily weight app, don’t gain more than 1lb or so per week as you will be putting on fat and muscle.

Sounds to me like your an active lady. If you don’t want to keep losing weight then you need to up your calories. You can change your calorie goal in mfp and it’s better to use your own data rather than tdee estimations if you have data available. Agreed on they pesky water fluctuations. My 7.6lb water gain is now down to 4lb in 2 days. Hopefully by next week it will only be the actual 1.5lb that I should have gained according to how much I ate over maintenance.

Feel your pain, I’ve just finished a weeks diet break and have put on 7.6lbs 😭 Assuming it’s mainly water weight, went from 2300 calories to 4000+ but the food increase was mainly carbs. The numbers say it should be water but will see how long it takes to get back down.

@sardelsa looking sharp 💪 and ready for maintenance imo I’ve made it to 165lbs. That’s 22lbs loss in last 19 weeks, inc initial water weight. First diet break is for a week starting this Sunday, really looking forward to it. I think when I’m back my holiday it will be maintenance for me.

I have a protein shake with water before the gym as I go first thing in the morning. Soon as I finish I have another one blended with oats, banana and egg whites. I also have a protein bar with my second shake. Rest of the day I generally get my protein from food. I think it’s just what you prefer. I’m on a cut just now…

Thanks for sharing Steve, it certainly looks like a decent way to track the bf%. The reviews on Amazon uk are pretty mixed on the chisel but it reads as though it’s likely down to user error with people not continually taking readings from the same spot.
