I would love to be able to exercise again but medical issues prevent it. But I did find a program on TV "Sit and Be Fit" and it is helping me feel better about myself.

I live alone and sometimes, usually in the evening, I snack out of boredom. My weight is OK at 140 but like a lot of older women, I have accumulated too much belly fat. I am trying desparately to lose this habit. I no longer buy snacks such as potato chips and dip, cookies, etc. I watch football with my son and his familoy…

I'm 81 years old, have never had a severe weight problem but now health issues are getting in the way. I hate the way my body looks and need to get rid of belly fat, plus sodium and sugar are my enemies. I need to get motivated but am failing miserably. I would welcome any advice or friendly reminders.

Shirle Fidder I am fighting belly fat and other health factors. I use myfitnesspal for awhile and get discouraged because I can't get sodium and sugar under control. I know it is lack of discipline on my part and I need motivation.
